No, it's not a joke. I have studied Quantum Mechanics and I understand the theory including the math, Now while some of the descriptions have been simplified so as to be easier to understand it is accurate.

You are ignoring the fact that Quantum Mechanics actually refutes the materialism on which atheism is based, showing that our reality is fundamentally information. That is that it ultimately shows our reality to be a programmed processed virtual reality. This means that there was an intelligent programmer.
