I would like add that even though you can get 250% price everywhere regardless of distance, you can get additional exp to Trading skill depending on distance. For example, I always cook at Olvia and make the boxes there, then I ship the boxes from Olvia to Duvencrune where I turn in my boxes. It's just 900+k per 600 boxes but it's worth the exp. I leveled my Trading this way.

I love this guide. Very we'll made, and i like the fact we actually have a good content creator from my home country. PROS: - Potential profit we'll explained. - Where it is done is we'll explained, and why. When that is said tho, it can be done other places if you feel more comfortable in Heidel for example. - How it is done is very we'll explained aswell no BS in between, and its kept simple very nice. - What are we aiming for? What is the goal? Why level this? Very we'll explained, and dismissed every doubt i had from the get-go. But that said i personally always level cooking no matter the game. Every MMORPG ive played which had cooking as a craft/profession ive leveled i dunno why tho. - Info are very new/beginner friendly, its understandable for new aswell as returning players, or seasoned players who needs tips, and tricks. (There is prolly more things i could list here but yeah this are my initial thoughts) CONS: - Money wise for beginners can be very expensive, yes we get alot of money from the game by playing through the story but its not making you rich. I ended up downgrading all the gear from this guide due to lack of funds. (I played before, but lost my account so i started over with nothing). - Not 100% F2P its nice that it is shown those P2W costumes/outfits (Pearl Shop) have great effect, and are "nice to have" but i would have appreciated the video being all F2P, and then those mentioned, and maybe a "little" demonstration. The reason why i flag it as a con is because i can't get the result i thought i could without them, so i miscalculated a bit. - Where do get Utensils mentioned good, BUT Advanced being the easiest to get from the get-go even tho CM is dry when it comes to them. I would have liked little more inside on how to get Supreme Utensils just to name, and example. - I begun to make Imperial Boxes "Great" BUT they weight a ton, and its gonna result in running back and forth a bazillion times between the Imperial Vendor, and the storage which for me is VERY tedious. Last words: Although it sounds like i put the video/guide more down than i give the thumbs up, i wanna say i love this guide i use it myself. It is also one of the better ones out there if not the best (After my opinion. So this is my opinions, but don't get me wrong i love this guide. But when that is said please my fellow countryman im not asking you to edit/update or remake the video to remove those cons. But i wish you will read this, and make a video with how you get such high Weight limit, and yes i know many other country creators have made videos regarding weight limit, but their method/guides worked for me or if understood them then i would'nt ask here. You are so good explaining stuff for slow learners like me (Im an Airhead sometimes) so please make a guide how to obtain those kinda weight limit. Is it gear? Is it P2W? WHAT IS IT! It would make my life so much easier! I searched far, and wide you can call me dumb or an idiot but in the jungle called the world wide web i did'nt find a good answer for the Supreme Utensils, mostly how to obtain etc.

it's refreshing to see relevant, up-to-date videos concerning lifeskilling. i appreciate that you cover the realistic aspects of cooking, such as workers, important nodes, and even strong (accessible) recipes like DPW/Fig Pie. One of my guildmates sent me your video, to show me the ease in profiting from cooking (more specifically, profiting from Guru Imperial boxes, packed with meals purchased direct from marketplace) One topic I feel should receive more attention is the silver cost / setup requirements of being a chef in BDO. I don't feel like the entry point is as simple as your video title would lead a new player to believe. On a brand new character, you need to have these ingredient nodes discovered & connected. You will need to have the energy, knowledge, hired and leveled workers (relevant ones +thoughtfully placed). "Assuming TET Loggia" is already a 1.6b silver entry cost, following your guide. According to your response to math in your comment section, Guru1 asks for 1 million Pickled Vegetable Crafts. If we're buying from Milano at 850silver, that's 6.8 billion silver spent on Paprika alone, not considering silver spent on strawberries (if you are making your own Vinegar/ not buying direct from marketplace). Advanced Cooking Utensils will run for 900 crafts, and (just gonna be rough with the math here), 1mil PV crafts will require 1111 utensils (at 1mil per, if you buy direct). 1.1bil for utensils. There are so many other expenses and directions I could try to cover, but I think i'm being long-winded here. I am sorry for that. I just feel like the "450mil per week, no work!" is a bit misleading. Cooking may be one of the simplest, most productive + profitable lifeskills that a beginner start off with (even after byproduct nerfs), but i'd be lying if i said it didn't cost a chunk of change to start up. If you made it this far... thank you for reading, friendo. I truly do appreciate people sharing their BDO knowledge with others (especially lifeskillers, hehe)

Another pro tip about your location. Don't feel so forced to be in Calpheon. All you really need is an alt in Calpheon with a horse as a bare min. What you do is you stack your horse with as much fruit/vegetables as you want. Then head over to the storage/central market and put your fruit/vegetables in your ware house. Then switch back to your character who is doing the cooking in the city they're doing the cooking and move the product into that cities storage. EZ PZ.

New player here and I'm really struggling to find good guides for the game. I've followed your guide on cooking as well as gearing without season and getting to endgame gear. I really appreciate the time and effort you put into this, however I'm really disappointed as to how behind console is from PC. Console still doesn't have the Narchillian gear update, or the professional imperial cooking box for pickled vegetables. As such I get really excited when I see a viable route to money making and gearing (considering I had full pen Naru for Narchillian and all the nodes you mentioned in this video - which were pretty difficult to get as a new player with a couple of weeks of playtime) only to hop on to the game to find out I can't do what 99% of the guides out there recommend. Would be really helpful if you could do a console version of these guides. :)

I really appreciate the feedback, and yeah it really does suck about not being applicable for Console :( I dont have any plans of making Console guides at this point, i only play PC (never played console), and the amount of time it would take me to get full knowledge of what is active on console vs PC is too daunting of a task for me at this point - simply dont have the hours to put in to that. Hii, got a noob question, why it's most interesting to get argent clothes and not the manos ? Manos increase masteries and max proc chance during cooking. The low time is most important that thé number ?
@BiceptimusPrime3 жыл бұрын
Its a great question! Which one to use, depends on how gates you are by materials. If you have enough mats, you always wanna use 1sec timer. Lets say using the Manos you make 100mil per hour cooking, and with Silver Embroided you make 70mil per hour, but because you are now cooking at 1sec instead of 4sec, you are actually making 4x the silver per hour, aka 280mil per hour (random numbers, just to illustrate). But if you are going to run out of mats, or using rare/expensive mats, you want the most output from it, you use Manos.

ok newbie question - people talk about "slow cooking" vs "fast cooking" What's the difference, and how do you do both?
@BiceptimusPrime2 жыл бұрын
Slow cooking is using a mastery outfit (Loggia/Manos), since it dosnt have cooking reduction, but gives mastery, your cooking is slower. Fast cooking is using a Silver Embroided, dosnt give mastery, but gives cooking reduction. Fast cooking is better, unless you are making really expensive items that are item gated (endgame meals etc)

Is the additional profit applied but just not counted with the main counter?
@BiceptimusPrime3 жыл бұрын
It is applied on sale, its quite annoying that it dosnt show the actual numbers on the NPC interface. But you can always check by selling 1 box with 0 mastery gear on, see how much silver you get. Then sell 1 with all your gear on and compare! :)

Really enjoyed the guide, do you have any idea on what to do if you want to get into afk fishing? Epheria Sailboat is nearly in my grasp and I'm wondering if I should bother with using it or just selling it, thanks in advance!
@BiceptimusPrime3 жыл бұрын
I doubt afk fishing as such is worth doing anymore, but the boat is great to have! I would suggest trying out some Bartering and seeing if thats something for you! You might want to check out MrRapolas here on youtube and twitch, he does alot of great stuff with Ocean content (and alot more, guy is hillarious!).

man... thnx for the guide, very useful... but you miss two details... the worker management for the nodes and what to cook with which ingridients, because as you said it, you can substitute the ingridients for the recepies with other ingridients, if you plz make another video with that info??? thnx again for the guide, just in my 1st atempt i spend like 13 million and im Artisan lvl 5, i recover those 13 million and make 35million profit!!! and i didnt by the clothes that you mention, but i will

Thanks for the comment man! Yeah, i left out alot of stuff, the guide is already quite long, so i decided to just stick with the basics. I got a few more beginner friendly guides planned, and once they are out, i might revisit and do some more advanced stuff. And grats on the silver =)

Thanks for the guide dude. It's super useful for new players like me. How do you get so many contribution points? What is the best way to gain them?
@BiceptimusPrime3 жыл бұрын
I actually mention it in the guide, but i think its a throw-away-comment. Cook! You get a byproduct when cooking (bdocodex.com/us/item/9780/), that you can turn in to a NPC for contribution points. That, and questing, are the best way of doing it.
@kevinang75663 жыл бұрын
thank you for the video bro, very helpful 1 question only, when I drain out the contribution point until 1 like you did (buying house, hire worker, etc) can we continue to do imperial cuisine delivery in the next day? or should we recover the contribution point first?
@BiceptimusPrime3 жыл бұрын
The amount of imperials you can turn in is ½ of your TOTAL CP, not your current :) So you can spend all your points no problem, and still do a full turn in every day!
@kevinang75663 жыл бұрын
@@BiceptimusPrime and I can do it again in the next day right? Do you know the exact reset time of imperial cuisine delivery?
@BiceptimusPrime3 жыл бұрын
@@kevinang7566 Yep, they reset daily. Im only aware of when the NA server resets, but its the same time every day. Remember, you have a "NPC limit" too, not just your daily personal limit. The NPC limit resets every 3 hour.
@kevinang75663 жыл бұрын
@@BiceptimusPrime ah ya, npc limit depends on how many transaction done by other player at that time. Okay bro, very helpful, thanks a lot. 👍👍👍

If i have a character at artisan 1 already, and im going to make a shai for gathering, is it worth to have two characters for different life skills?? or should i just start cooking again on shai to have all my life skilling on one character
@Brady933 жыл бұрын
Im in this dilemma. I used my main kuno as a life skiller and swapped to striker. Mobility isnt amazing for gathering meats as well as aoe. I was debating buying the exchange coupon to swap gathering to a shai as she can taunt mobs in closer for mouse movement gathering.
@BiceptimusPrime3 жыл бұрын
Imo, having all lifeskills on 1 char is preferable. Weight is very important for lifeskilling, so having it all on 1 char, means you dont have to spread out your means. Also less swapping around gear (Loggia/Manos accessories etc). Artisan 1 is really quick to regain, so i wouldnt worry about that. There are a few lifeskills where having a dedicated char for that, does make sense tho, like Trading, Farming and Bartering.

Are fences good for grains? I honeslty got some as a new player according to my friend advice and i get a lot more from the fence than the nodes but the problem is they need energy
@PinnedOut902 жыл бұрын
Can you get the nodes to deliver to one play or do you have to go to each town?
