If you can smoke a stogie and bash at the same time, you're a legend!😜🤣🤣You must have had a diff built on a Wednesday!🤣 Mine held up for a couple hard runs but it was ring that went due to no outer shim.😝under inspection, my planetary gears are getting bad wear. I'm waiting on a full rebuild kit for my rear. Going to try the extra internal shims and go from there. Great vid bro and take it easy!😎🍻

Thanks, Eric! Finney enough don't have an outer shim on my rear either. I'm not sure I could fit one in. There is no okay at all. I hear you on the internal gear wear. Mine are showering signs. I have a few tiny chips here and there, but it's still running!

My rear diff went on the first run. I even pulled it apart before running it. 3 shims on both sides. Pulled out the calipers and they were sized right on spec. Put it back together and topped it off properly with 30K. It was nearly empty btw. Barely a dribble under the bottom pin. With in a minute of run time lost power to the rear. Pulled it apart to find the teeth on the sun gears all very slightly rounded off. Like they were barely making contact to begin with. All parts on back order for at least a few weeks horizon is telling me. While I wait for those parts I grabbed everything needed to switch to V4 diff. I will disassemble, aluminum case, shim accordingly and likely never put the exb diff back in it. I will hold it as a spare.

Exactly the same problem. Called yesterday and was told they expect the warranty replacement diffs next week. My question is do I need to inspect the center and front?

7 runs, my rear diff lasted 7 minutes. Luck of the draw, much. The LSD in the rear is bulletproof, but it drives like it's in tornado alley.

I haven't. I'm pretty used to it because I run heavy fluid in the center of my other trucks. This one just has a ton of power 😎👊👍

I'm running a 23t and without fans the motor runs hot. When the fans are working the motor is fine. If I could do it over again I would have went with a 21t. 23t is overkill 😅

Yes sensored and with the rear running LSD it would badly understeer

So I have about 20 packs through my exb. 22t 1650kv 4092 . Granted I added 3 lsd plates to each side without the locking plates so it still open diff. I absolutely love the truck and actually prefer it to my built m2c rigs. I think because its lighter and have so much air control without the added weight. My chassis was almost solid aluminum after about 5 packs. How does yours still look barely used.

Try the Power Hobbies duel fan setup, I have two in my 6s rigs and have sent them over 100ft plenty of times with no issues. Even take a few light poles at 70+ ft and still fine 😱 What's nice is they come with the Y connector 👍 best value out there!

If I ran that power plant my throttle endpoint would be set at around 55-65% till I got used to it...I usually run most my rigs at around 75-80% throttle endpoint batteries last longer also

Short of driving stupid by purposefully landing on power, seems like it's holding up great. Your not being easy on the throttle when accelerating either. I was curious if you regeared to avoid overheating like the first time out, or was it just adding the better fan on the esc that kept the temps in check?

Yea the shimming is totally off I blew my diff in 2 days after a handful of runs and when it went out it would work for a second then make a super bad noise then work and then it just didn’t work but I had to send it to see how long it’d last😂😂😂
