GREAT VIDEO. I too had some steering issues with my new Kraton and new S9120BL servo. At first I thought it was my servo itself, and it still may be but I also noticed that arrma stripped out the passenger side, front, upper knuckle/hub nut that was allowing the ball joint to move freely. Thanks ARRMA, lol. Then I noticed my servo saver was waaaaaay to loose. It was a perfect scenario for a perfect disaster on a perfectly new Kraton 8s BLX exb. lol. Thanks for the informative video, it was very helpful.

Would it be ok to use a heat gun on the screws under the chassis cause they are way to tight and must have a good amount of thread lock

Got it all done but somehow have 2 very long button head screws left over

I snapped two on an arrma vendetta. And it fucked my diff gears inside the way it jammed up. Now I run new 4s diffs front and rear. With alloy yokes. And I put the RCAWD axles. I managed to get a piece of rock in the rear driver side (left). And it hit the spring retainer and the pin came out. I had pins and repaired it right away. But the problem is the spring retainer that holds the pin. Can’t be found or bought. So I bent the shit out of the damaged one and used loctite in the tip of the pin so it don’t fly out. I just do speed runs btw. No jumps or hard turns. And it snapped both rear Hot racing axles. In the second run. I have upgraded gearing but still running 3s stock esc and motor.

Was curious about opening my ESC Module to maybe upgrade my Receiver on my Kraton 8s and luckily this video was one of the first ones. I love the camera view and narrating, I love this new hobby I recently got into

How did you get the pins in to the hubs? Have stock Typhon hubs and could not get the pins through for the driveshafts

Thanks for the vid! I broke one brand new in one minute on a mini infraction. They are no good. It has happed 4 times in the past. I have to use hot racing shafts putting the Arrma cup on the diff and put the hot racing shaft and wheel that seemed to fix the issue. I can make a vid if anyone wants to see my mod. Beware, buying 4 hot racing and 4 arrma Hd shafts costs over 100$ thst sucks for all of us. Thank you for putting this bud out. Your Awesome and this is a big issue. Thanks RC Fam!!!!

In my experience these have not held up well on my Typhon. Went back to the old style on my front towers. How have these held up for you long term?

I got so fed up from the stupid hot racing, driveshafts breaking on Senton from not even bashing and just driving in low grass I splurged on a used Mojave EXB and that thing is near indestructible. I won’t ever buy hot racing products again. $80 for two driveshafts that are worthless like toothpicks. Hot racing equals hot garbage.

Hot racing driveshafts are horrible on my Senton, they break so darn easily. Worst RC product ever!

i didn’t realize how old this was but i sure needed I never thought it was going to be this EASY 😮 I’m shocked been looking for a video like this for a few months. i bought the EXB version it was missing wheel wrench , it had no glue on one tire, left upper arm broken with like a crack and a lot of slop, all shocks leaking from bottom... i just received a care package basically even sway bars took. thank you 🙏 did i need this
