How do we deploy a gateway or that source to PowerBI service and keep it updated? Would this (what you showed) be enough to deploy it?

As of now there is no automation to Update Power BI Data Gateway automatically. Microsoft is working on this idea and will soon release it. However, as of now, you need to do it manually once a month. However, you can add a source on Power BI Data Gateway on Power BI Service portal after configuring data gateway and then use this while scheduling the data refresh to keep your data up to date.

Thank you for making this video.. I am still facing the issue. When I setup the Mongodb ODBC Data source Configuration and enter the database IP, port, user, password & DB name and then clicking on Test, then it become unresponsive. if I skip the test and just click OK and when I connect in power bi, it shows Details: "ODBC: ERROR [08S01] [MySQL][ODBC 1.4(a) Driver]Lost connection to MySQL server at 'waiting for initial communication packet', system error: 10060"

@@rahulnapa3495 I had the same problem, you need to run the file C:\Program Files\MongoDB\Connector for BI\2.14\bin\mongosqld.exe and do not close it while you are connecting via power BI - It have to stay open while you import your data !

You may need to allow public access or use a Power BI Data Gateway and allow access to Power BI Data Gateway on the remote server.
