Very well done. I raced for seven years -- 5 time NJ state time trial champion -- and there's still a few of these whose names only my mechanic gets right ("I need this gizmo adjusted"). Thanks so much.

Thank you! I learned a lot! I was trying to find a "26inch PLAP wired 1 1/8 by 203mm threadless fork" for the one that broke on my grandsons mongoose bike. I realized by reading all of the information on the internet, that I should just buy him a new bike!!

Missed the axel onto which the pedal cranks are attached. This axel, holding the pedal cranks passes through the frame (your lower cockpit) and so connects the pedals on either side of the bike.

Back in the day ….the cassette was called " the cluster " (70's) …. and weren't the 2 main chain rings called sprockets ??

if i have suspension on my bike it's a mountain bike? i guess it isn't as efficent to use it on the road?
