Bart Rides Eternal I do notice a difference between the 2 that I can’t quite explain other than maybe a smoother pedal stroke but idk if it’s worth the effort and cost. Guess it depends on the bike and how I use it.

I got rid of a 'mountain' bike i really liked because i asked the bike shop to convert the cranks bracket to a better system then loose bearings...the lying bike guy hold me it could not be done...man i really hate the guy/shop now....

Sorry to hear it. IDK why some shops are that way. Seems you hear this kind of story frequently. Not enough profit to be made or they're only interested in new high end bikes? Fortunately I had a local bike shop that would bend over backwards to help with any project but sadly they went out of business. Thanks for watching.

Sorry I don't know off hand but it is just the standard American bottom bracket so whatever that size is.

I had to do something similar but I needed an eccentric adapter that would allow me to install a mid-drive motor for an e-bike. What was the inside diameter of your bottom bracket before the conversion.

What eccentric adapter did you get? Sorry I don't recall the diameter. Just a cruiser type frame with a 1 piece crank. I think they are most all the same.

He should of not changed the rear sparket the bigger the better the gears
