So while I absolutely agree that his death was a form of manslaughter OR a negligent homicide through and through, you're being kind of intellectually dishonest by simply describing it as a "mental health crisis". It sounds like he was having an episode of meth-induced psychosis, which most would argue is self-induced depending on how you view substance use disorders. Again, in no way am I downplaying the fact that he would most likely be alive if not for these security officers but we have to look at the scope of the whole situation when reporting these type of stories.

We want to clarify that the incident you're referring to occurred in 2021 under the previous ownership of the Bicycle Casino. Parkwest Bicycle Casino acquired the casino on April 12, 2022, almost 9 months after the incident. Additionally, a jury found that the prior owners of the Bicycle Casino were not responsible for Mr. Jung’s death. Rather the jury, County Coroner, and numerous medical experts all concluded that Mr. Jung died from a methamphetamine drug overdose, and not from his interactions with security officers. Mr. Jung also attempted to carjack a patron in valet before an encounter with security. You can find all the details in the court case proceedings. We encourage you to verify the facts before making such claims.
