Bicycle Chain Tutorial (War tanker Chain) using MASH Curve tool in Autodesk MAYA

This video demonstrates on creating bicycle, cycle or war tanker chain using curve node in MASH in Maya software. Even this tool helps in animating the chain along the path.

can you make a tutorial how to rig that using follicles, coz your way is good but sitting in a stuido we cant create mesh on our own, we have to rig the given chain, now I have tried it using IK spline but its not up to the mark, spline is not that hand but follicles are,, can you help??? PLEASE!

Rebuild the curve and add more number of copies

@@ReinsAcademy I've tried and it's not working , when I'm created new cube and it's working fine , problem only with my single thread , what I've done is combined that cube with thread and then followed the step , it worked , then deleted the cube by selecting faces.

Couldn't manage to do it. Can't drag curve path onto the mesh, also not running round the curve. When I managed to run it through the curve then the mesh (chain) rotated to the wrong direction.

Also wasn't clear how to modify the curvature of the chain. All together the tutorial helped to achieve my results. Thank you

If objects rotating in wrong direction, check the world up type and change it to may be object up or object rotation up. While the object should be at origin and make sure that is freezed, Front side of the object should be facing in X Axis. Try adding more sub divisions to the curve for better control. Use lattice to place the object.
