I love that you’re taking your time. Many people brag about how many miles they covered in a day and I ask how much they miss as they made the miles.
@TravelingThru2223 жыл бұрын
I spend so much time thinking about traveling and bicycle touring, that when I finally get out there I have no trouble going as slow as I need to. Thats what I also enjoy about all the filming and riding back to get the camera, It allows me more time to be present in a particular, usually beautiful space. I do like the thrill of riding big days and going far but its not the most important thing on my mind. Thanks for watching, See you on the road.

I always tell people " If you have ever thought about doing something like this, It will be 10 times better than you could ever imagine." I would suggest The Adventure Cycling Association Southern Tier Bike Route. Flattest, fastest way across the country. See you on the road.

Loving the videos and very motivating. Just waiting on some parts from China to finish my bike. Yep I'm going to do a coast to coast myself but on a ebike to try to promote an alternative way of vacationing and saving the earth for the grand children. Being a native of Colorado I can say next time take your fishing pole. I am! Hey thans for the videos and the motivation and take care.

Glad to see you enjoyed our state. It's funny, though; we live in Grand Junction and travel regularly to Pueblo along the route you took (and rode most of it on a couple of Ride the Rockies bike tours), but after a while you get used to the scenery and the vast open spaces. However, when I look at your videos of the rail trails in the midwest with the unbelievably green trees and quaint little towns every few miles, I want to visit!
@TravelingThru2223 жыл бұрын
I love the west. So true, usually when I make my way back to The East Coast Im shell shocked by how green it is and how much water is flowing everywhere. Riding from Coast to Coast you get a touch of everything. Glad to be out of that Midwest.
@jogger19873 жыл бұрын
I live in Pueblo and ride regularly here and I agree with your midwest sentiments lol I planned a trip to Madrid, Iowa to hit some the High Trestle Bike Trail. It's all about perspective. After a few weeks removed from the mountains, creeks, rivers, and dry heat it comes calling.

I have a 60cm 2020 Trek 520 also in anthracite but the frame cracked right a the seat post clamp. Frame may have been too small for me sadly. I definitely had the seatpost in beyond the mark on it. Now my gray 520 is a red 63 lol. Also run a black brooks. My teal Ortliebs don't look that great with my red frame tho.

After 2700 miles I was feeling very strong. Legs as well as upper body. However on trips like this, I start to get sick of the food I have been eating for months. So I always start to fizzle on food ideas and options. So I was eating a lot, but I still think I wasn't eating enough, which is hard to believe because I was eating all the time. But feeling great, and could ride forever. Catch you on the road.
