Why are people even saying a glass that shatters put on the back is better than plastic back? Plastic is obviously more deseignable and can be even made much more vibrant, with more premium look and feel than glass back. I think people are so fond of the glass on the display shattering so much that they want it on the back too

Correct. The fingerprints on glass is so annoying plus if you have a glass back phone you're more likely to put a case on it. So why does it even matter

I have the S20+ and it still works perfectly. The battery could be better but it is acceptable.
