Biden delivers last State of the Union address before US election 2024 | FULL

President Joe Biden delivered his last State of the Union (SOTU) address on Thursday before the U.S. election, to sharpen distinctions with Donald Trump on the economy and taxes on the rich, and to ease voter concerns about his age.
During the address, Biden repeatedly criticized former president Trump for, in his view, "bowing down" to Russia, failing to care about COVID-19 and papering over the Jan. 6 Capitol assault, making his case for re-election in 2024.
Biden, speaking before a joint session of the House of Representatives and the Senate, opened his remarks with a direct criticism of Trump for comments inviting Russian President Vladimir Putin to invade other NATO nations if they did not spend more on defence.
He also stressed America's global leadership role and cited U.S. support for Ukraine and Israel as examples. Biden added that he has directed the U.S. military to lead an emergency mission to establish a temporary pier in the Mediterranean on the coast of Gaza. This is for the purpose of Gazans to be able to receive large shipments of food, water and medicine.
Other topics he spoke about included health care (including reproductive health), the economy, education, and more.

If you seen how Democrats passed Obamacare back in 2011, you would realize Democrats don't want to work with Republicans (hint: Democrats locked Republicans out of crafting the bill). Republicans passed two resolutions to help solve the issue at the border in the past year, Democrats didn't bother advancing those bills and instead choose to blame Republicans instead. And this was after Biden revoked all of Trump's previous policies, and after Democrats pulled every trick in the book to halt construction of the border wall.

Over all a good honest state of the union, however there were some areas of denial with China's economy and the capability of the US economy. Let me give you a brief explanation, Lets say China builds a TV for $100, the US picks it up off the dock in China and brings it to the US and sells it for $300. On the books the US includes $200 GNP for the transaction and China takes credit for $100. Think about how you would reverse this relationship but consider the US has nearly full employment, for every dollar of Chinese goods turned away the US looses two dollars in GDP and there is currently nobody in the US that can build $600 billion worth of TV's and other products purchased from China, the US would need 4-5 million people of working age and thousands of new factories. This is a hard reality to swallow and it's not a weekend fix, in fact there is no fix, it will take a complete rework of the US system of governance and decades of hard work to change this situation or come to terms with the Chinese and get on with making life better for the average American.
