The biden administration in June of 2021 changed who could apply for asylum in our country. Prior to this rule change, it was only for political or religious persecution or violence because of their race or ethnicity. Now, because of the rule change, they can seek asylum based on the perceived degree of violence in their country. So, let's examine those numbers. The murder rate in Honduras is 36 per hundred thousand people, Columbia 23 per hundred thousand, Guatemala 17 per hundred thousand and Mexico is 28 per hundred thousand. Now, let's look at the murder rate for three cities here at home. New Orleans last year was 70 for every hundred thousand, Saint Louis 68 for hundred thousand, Baltimore 58 for hundred thousand. The Biden administration is allowing people into this country who are "fleeing violence" with far fewer levels than are here in our own country. Considering these crime rates, the desire of the liberals to disarm the people while defunding the police, what are we supposed to do, where are we supposed to go?
