The people that live in those big homes are millionaires with enough money to buy another home. They have money in the bank and everything is insured so now they they will get paid double. They will collect money from the insurance and also the government. This looks a little one sided to me, everything for the rich and nothing for the poor. They can by a house trailer with everything in it with the money they have. The poor people can't do that. It just don't seem right to me to help people that are millionaires and forget the little man that looses everything when they lose their home in floods and fires.

Ukraine gave up their nuclear weapons because the USA asked them to, promising in return to "protect the territorial integrity of Ukraine" against any invasion. There was no footnote to the Budapest Memorandum excusing the USA from that duty if there happened to be a hurricane in the southeastern US or raging brush fires in LA. Actually, the vast bulk of what we have sent to Ukraine has consisted out of date equipment that we will never use, but that comes in handy when you are being invaded by ruzzia. We have put a price tag on 40 year old Abrams tanks and 35 year old Bradley fighting vehicles as if they were new and not slated for the scrap heap. The really shameful thing is that even though we have HUNDREDS of F16 fighter jets and A10 Warthogs sitting in storage, in three years we have provided Ukraine with ZERO of these!
