And I've watched TV anchors say the wrong name while doing a story on how Biden (or Trump) got a name wrong. I've heard them say Obama instead of Biden or even Trump instead of Biden. These are people in their 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, and 60s. Anyone who regularly speaks in public makes this kind of name flip from time to time. I've watched when the person speaking catches the mistake and corrects it, and I've seen where they didn't catch it, but said the right name later in the comments/speech. Most of us have called out the wrong name when addressing a child or grandchild--even though we KNOW which kid it is. I really don't care if either candidate says the wrong name inadvertently. I care more about the honesty, character, AND POLICIES of a candidate, which disqualifies Trump on all three.

He spoke for over an hour taking question after question on many different topics. He went into so much detail especially about foreign policy. Imagine Trump trying to answer questions about foreign policy. He didn’t even know what NATO was when he was president. Biden had one major gaff where he said Trump instead of Kamala. So faking what? Remember Trump saying “Nikki Haley, Nikki Haley over and over instead of Nancy Pelosi? Or when Trump said he beat Obama in the 2016 election when he ran against Hillary. Inflation: now ended, according to June stats. Was *always* way lower than the global average, thanks to Biden's policies. It was a global problem; only so much the leader of any country could do. Biden did better than the rest. Meanwhile, Trump is promising a 10% tariff on imports - something economists are describing as an "inflation bomb." - his medical records were released. - Parkinson doctor's visits were almost entirely on days Biden wasn't in the WH. Dr released a letter about this. Try doing some fact checking (something the original "reporter" should have done) - weird how you're worried about illegal immigrants, yet *your guy* had his stooges kill a bipartisan bill to fix the issue; more concerned about having an issue to campaign on than *actually doing something.* So Biden did the best he could with an executive order and illegal crossings have been cut in half. Wanna bet MAGA try to take Biden to court over that? - gasoline is an internationally traded commodity. Prices for crude are set by the international market; prices at the pump by oil companies, who are making record profits. Are you suggesting the government set price controls? Are you anti capitalism? Biden has been doing what he can to lower the price, by releasing substantial amounts of the federal reserve... for which MAGA politicians have criticized him. Because they want the prices to stay high so fools blame him. You may want to ask *your* party why they want you to pay more.

@@pibbles9 fuel prices are also affected by policies or threats/enticements of incoming policies. The current president/administration looked right at the camera and promised to "end the fossil fuel industry." I'm still not sure how exactly people who supported him thought that would play out in our fossil fuel driven economy BUT I do believe if the "other guy" said something like that and then fuel prices went up and stayed up...most likely his haters would equate the two things as having a connection. And in that case, they should and would be right. Fuel and energy prices affect the cost of just about every goods and services. Yes there's more to it then the president caused it BUT promising to end an entire industry while wanting to mandate one that still has it's own major kinks definitely has an effect on all of this. If he can't damage it by his own actions then how can he promise to fix things in the very same system? If the current president has no effect on the current economy then why did he literally name this turd of an economy after himself? He either has some power and say or he's just blowing smoke about future plans. What is it?

The “big boy” press conference was reading a speech off the teleprompter then calling on reporters from a pre determined list that was given to him before the conference. At the very end we got a glimpse of what a real press conference looks like and Biden just smiled at the reporters asking impromptu questions all at once and shuffles off.

Disaster? He spoke for over an hour taking question after question on many different topics. He went into so much detail especially about foreign policy. Imagine Trump trying to answer questions about foreign policy. He didn’t even know what NATO was when he was president. Biden had one major gaff where he said Trump instead of Kamala. So faking what? Remember Trump saying “Nikki Haley, Nikki Haley over and over instead of Nancy Pelosi? Or when Trump said he beat Obama in the 2016 election when he ran against Hillary. Both Biden and Trump do gaffs like this ALL the time the only difference is Biden will admit that he misspoke whereas Trump will lie lie lie and say he “interposed the names on purpose “ and then the media will bash Biden for his gaffs while completely ignoring Trumps. Sorry, I don't believe those votes mattered much in the slightest, in the way you're implying, because the DNC didn't hold a proper primary. Besides, those primary votes (for an incumbent ticket) were for Biden AND Harris! So what's the problem exactly? And heck, what's the point of having a VP, if this isn't the EXACT situation where they must step up? What's the point about having rules to replace a president for being unfit, and a backup called VP, if this isn't the time to use them?
