After former President Donald Trump was shot during an assassination attempt during a rally in Pennsylvania, President Joe Biden was briefed on the situation and later spoke out condemning political violence. You are not just voting for Biden, you are voting for his entire team. I'd rather have team Biden than Trump's cartel of criminals. Yet Trump supporters happily, eagerly forget such speeches that go "Bing bing, bong bong..." Or where his salad-thoughts trailed off and just went "...guuuuuuh..". I’m finding the current media coverage in the United States extremely frustrating, considering it’s just wall-to-wall coverage about how unfit Joe Biden is to be the President…but, as I’ve said before, they’re ignoring the fact that he’s overseen a successful administration and continues to do so effectively, whilst placing far too much emphasis on a single bad debate.

Worse, they’re actively promoting a conspiracy theory suggesting that the Democratic Party are actively looking to replace the President as the Democratic nominee - and even were that true, I doubt they’d be consider it were the media not doing their level best to suggest that Biden isn’t fit. The Democrats ought to know better: they’ve seen how Biden works, and they’ve worked alongside him, so they know the picture being painted simply isn’t accurate. Let’s be honest: if the media weren’t harping on about it, both the Democratic Party and the country would have moved on by now. It’s not surprising that Donald Trump’s disappeared from public view: his team have no doubt recognised that putting his lying self on television right now would just distract from the idiocy being put out by the media as a whole, and it’s better to leave them to it.

Those that are currently suggesting that Biden be replaced on the ticket are doing so solely out of panic, purely because the media won’t shut up about it. It’s not because Biden’s actually unfit: it’s because the media keep acting as though this is the case, despite the fact that Biden has repeatedly shown that he’s fine in every appearance and engagement since the debate. The Prime Minister of the United Kingdom has just reaffirmed this (per the link above)…and yet will we see anything about this in US media? No. This idiocy has got to stop - because, frankly, the news are using it to generate ratings and keep the conversation going, but, by doing so, they’re walking the United States into authoritarian dictatorship, and hoping they’ll come out the other end in one piece.
