U.S. President Joe Biden addressed crowds of military service members on Thursday, at a barbecue marking the Fourth of July on the White House South Lawn.
In the aftermath of Biden's disastrous debate performance last week, some financial backers were holding off or canceling upcoming fundraisers, according to a person familiar with the plans who spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity.
