Biden to release 1 million barrels of gas from Northeast reserve

The Biden administration is planning to release 1 million barrels of gasoline over the coming weeks in an effort to lower gas prices between Memorial Day and Independence Day.
The gas will come from the Northeast Strategic Reserve that was created under President Obama following Superstorm Sandy, and the administration says the 1 million barrels equate to roughly 42 million gallons of gas.
