@@ginamicciulli5974 Nothing really. Yes, he inherited a strong downturn from Dubya, but he handled it like crap. He also threw us into war in at least two other countries. The only thing I think he really did right, and you'll likely disagree vehemently, was his EO on DACA. The issue at that point was long standing, and it still is, because Congress, whose job it is to actually craft the legislation to deal with issue, has done dick all. Something HAD to be done and he actually thought by using his EO he could get them to act. Trump's motivation in rescinding DACA was exactly the same. I feel that both of them, regardless of the legislation Congress put on their desk, as long as it codified policies, they would have signed it. Trump rescinded it in early 2017, gave Congress three months before it was to take effect to actually do their job, and instead, they tied it up in the courts and held the budget hostage. I hold both parties responsible for the mess that is our immigration policy because the balance of power in Congress and the White House has shifted many times over the past 40 years, and even when either side has full control, they still refuse to do anything meaningful.

Meaning, don’t just vote for someone or side because of their stance on abortion or illegals, especially if it don’t affect you personally. I thought I was a democrat for much of my childhood, and then I got red-pulled as I began to educate myself on policies and what was really going on. I will say, I’m often not a fan of Republicans either. Trump was on a whole different level. When you have a guy that is accomplishing things, yet hated by both parties, I knew he was doing something right. The over-inflated government is our biggest problem. With that said, I’m much more likely to vote Republican now because Democrats are the party of sell out the country for the sake of personal power. They don’t care about your community. They only care about people being ignorant and they make grand gestures that will cost our children and our children’s children a peaceful and free life of actual freedom. 18:05 that 'recession' was due to Bush's gas prices. It was up around 4 bucks a gallon in 2000, I remember because thats when I started driving. If trucks have to spend more on gas to get food from the farm to the market, that slab of beef is gonna cost more to make up for it.

I'm Canadian, and my Grandmother was 82 when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. They knew it had already spread, but still treated her cancer. She was given the choice. She died still, but they did everything they could anyways so I have no clue what she's talking about. Everyone in Canada gets the same healthcare- except seniors get free glasses and drug prescriptions. Now kids get free dental, and we have Government funded drug venefits for low income households. It doesn't cost us 2.5grand just to ring an ambulance or 10k to give birth. I can't for the life of me imagine why people wouldn't want free health care. And before anyone says it's not technically free your tax covers it, you're going to pay tax no matter what so why wouldn't you want your health to be covered in that. As someone who used to live in New York, and saw Trump loved and celebrated by Democrats for decades, I would always ask Trump haters this. "Why do you think it is, no one called Trump a racist until he joined the Republican party?" There's only 2 possible answers. There shouldn't be an age restriction on voting, there should be a KNOWLEDGE (or lack of) restriction on voting. Voters take a test a year before every election on all the policies of all the politicians on the ballot. If you fail, you lose you sit this one out. If you pass, you get to vote.
