Now that Trump is the oldest presidential nominee ever, we should all start making a huge deal about the former president's advanced age and cognitive decline only so much as it would affect his ability to do the job; like his conspicuously falling asleep during his criminal trial and at the convention where he was nominated. We shouldn't make fun of the former president for having to wear adult diapers for incontinence issues, though, since wearing adult diapers would not interfere with his doodies as president (no pun intended).

The whole role is to work hard, support the Prez, and not steal the limelight. Which VP would you name as "successful"? She has done good, solid work. I don't think that it's a knock against Harris that she was allegedly an "unsuccessful" VP. It's not a position that lends itself to success. The VP is the leader in waiting should they be needed (much like a crown prince), and usually they are not needed. As the career of Prince Charles illustrates, it's hard to wait around as the spare. I thought that Harris did really well in her debate against Pence four years ago, and I would expect more of the same from her now.
