I feel like screamo is very underground in most places and, at least looking by the amount of screamo/emoviolence from Malaysia, they have a pretty active scene. Only a handful of countries do if I'm not wrong, in Europe it's mostly what, France, Italy, Germany and maybe the Scandinavian countries? Even German underground screamo played there (like Marais). And then the US has a lot of great stuff obviously. I generally like Malaysian screamo a lot.
