If you were playing the game, you'd see how much they added of what was asked by the comunity and playerbase. They are doing what game devs should always do, but always don't. Make the game for the players, and listening to criticism and feedback. I was trashing this game for almost a year now, but since the last major update, I changed my review to positive, and I can see a amazing future for this game. You should consume less salt. It's bad for your health.

@@toddblankenship7164 LOL No. In 99% of the cases is the opposite where devs don't listen to the community. Let's take Diablo IV as an example. For a year people have been angry that class balance doesn't exist and skills balance within each class doesn't exist. And what they did do to fix this? Oh... big nothing. There are just a couple of devs who care and listen (f.g. Cities Skylines, Last Epoch, PoE 2) but the rest don't care.

Living in Germany, with a ton of small roads, I'm always looking ahead to avoid blocking busses. People riding busses aren't driving, leaving the streets that much clearer for me, Thank you very much.

Why not put the medium train station alongside the river. Would've made more sense as your expanding and you don't need those quirky lines in and out of the station.

Been playing CS2 casually on my couch with a controller and I gotta say the controller controls are intuitive and quite nice. Only thing missing is the ability to turn on anarchy. which is annoying. mods should allow us to bind to controller keys.

There is an overpass for pedestrians on the train station already so the pedestrian path is not needed

Let's imagine the walking bridge build in to the station is in bad shape and has fallen into disuse😉 like in many stations in the UK. Very nice build again, was a joy to watch.

When you are placing the extra buildings, there is a option to stop grabbing to the building and allow it to grab to the road ;)

also when you have 2 roads side by side and the snapping is to the one you don't want, do right click, normally it works nice and start snapping to the other role

School parking lots in my personal experience never required students to cross streets to get from their car to the school. They were always directly attached.

I’ve loaded up the game for the first time in six months and have started a new city. The new economy is not a problem so long as you don’t build anything too big for your starting village and do the normal things like reducing your budgets to 50% until you need to increase them. I managed to “lose” a city by buying a water treatment plant too soon but that’s just the sort of thing you need to keep it interesting. Unlocking the specialist industry early really helped as I could put down farms and forestry from the start. It is a game again which is such a relief. My one problem is that the Zoning is broken and doesn’t look like it is going to be fixed anytime soon 😢 I’m making do with paths but it’s a pain. Keep up the good work and I would love to see you run a mini series on starting a city with Economy 2.0

Biffa Remember that Trains are VERY loud and shake the ground...so I would add sound dampening around the houses like Thick Wooded Trees.

I'm thinking that maybe re-enable paid parking at the train station could be a better option than building more, particularly if you also add a few bus routes (and make sure it is easy to walk between the stations)

Probably no surprise to anyone, zoning control seems to only happen when a road is drawn. If you need to change (remove/add) zoning to a road, the road needs to be deleted and redrawn.

It feels like the depot vehicle amount needs to be more or the default number of vehicles on routes needs to be less (with higher capacity to compensate?). It's nutty that placing just a few lines runs your depot out of vehicles

The only problem I have now with the new patches, they didn't make adjustments to the game maps. Like rails for the trains to get traffic a bit relaxter. but also oil,ore and other stuff still in the old place so it takes pretty long to get your city bigger.

Nice video. I have just a hint. There seem to be a problem with the train depot and your cargo train station. They are connected via single train track. In minute 40:45 you can see the two trains being stuck and blocking each other because they don’t have enough space to shunt.

Your train lines were sorted by name. So once you renamed them the same thing, they were actually correct even before your crash.

Looks like that the cargo lines have 3 trains each but the transport lines have just 1 and 0. Maybe you should take a look and adjust it.

The zoning "tool" actually does not work as you said, but if you have a zoning defined and build a new road it will place it with the selected zoning.. I've been removing streets these days just to put them again without zoning due to this.. not handy but it works at least. I wonder why the mod doesn't use the road upgrade tool rather than having a custom one, but that's another matter

It will be worth it in the long run he says… I as a console player have been dealing with fake promises. Im not even sure I would buy it. Mind you, Ive spent over 3k hrs on 1, and I was looking forward to this. Its been over a year and the game still bugs on the best pcs.

but it's getting better, because they're listening and fixing the issues. EA, Rockstar, Bethesda all release crappy, buggy products that aren't complete, then offer the fixes in PAID DLC... and you buy the heck out of them at 70-90 bucks a shot, don't you. But then you criticize CO/Paradox for NOT doing it that way? but then you'd probably complain if they released a perfect product, because it didn't have a mod you liked from CS1, already implemented in the game.

First off about cs2 coming to console i dont believe it will work at all especially big cities as even super charge pcs take a big dip. Not having traffic manager as a base option in this game i thought the devs would have learned from cs1 as the one line driving drives you crazy. Being a console player and dropping $400 over the years on cs1 and not getting TM in cs2 i dont think im going to even go thru the headache. As for your future expansion of the city your pc will thank you if you develop well cargo lines so less trucks and traffic is moving thru the game. I think a cargo drop off on east side will be needed soon as you expand. As always enjoy the content and thank you.
