I was there for this gig, was insane. Also the same festival for 2016, both were awesome. 2016 seemed a more polished Biffy Clyro, 2013 set list and energy was just top notch

I can confirm being there was super special. That was the biggest show they played up to that point and it felt like they had really made it at that show. I was stood around the side with 4 beers (so I didn’t miss any of the show) and it was incredible. I’m seeing them headline Download Festival on Sunday and I’m so hyped. Awesome reaction.

Used to go and see these when they were bringing out their first three albums. They were always so tight and Simon's voice was like paint stripper at times. Check out And Now the Action is on Fire if you want to hear how heavy they can be.

Just thought regarding the repetitive outro of Opaque, I wouldn't recommend Diary of Always, does have 3 part harmonies throughout the song, has the line "I just wish we all could be true" running for the entire 4 minutes.

I saw Biffy Clyro in around 2012(ish) in a late night delayed start show on a snowy winter night (biffy called it Snowmageddon) at a venue in Minneapolis called 7th Street Entry, a small venue (cap 250) that's part of the larger and more famous First Avenue venue. That was also a great show on a relatively tiny stage, and much smaller than anywhere they had been playing in the UK for several years I'm sure. So yeah, great live band and worth seeing on stages large or small. Great recorded too. That song has some additional strings on the CD version filling out the sound at the end which also works really well. If they are in town, see them, it will be worth it, and especially in the USA (or outside the UK anyway) where perhaps they are playing more intimate venues (still??).

I got to see them support the Foos actually back in 2011 in Milton Keynes and Jimmy Eat World were the other support before them. Was such a great combination of bands
