Another example of Biffy doing a great job of smoothing out an odd time sig is 'Spanish Radio'. Mostly in 5, and has Mariachi brass parts to boot!

I love this band. Been to see them over ten times so when you react to their songs I love it!!! Nice reaction to one of their older songs 🙌

Wow love this break down! More old biffy breakdowns pls!!!

Great reaction. This is biffy at their most progressive. Deliberately making awkward and intense music. Takes a few listens to appreciate for the non biffy fans that album. I love it. Keep reactions coming. Dave I know ‘victory over the sun’ is in the pipeline looking forward to that. Thanks for shout out as well 😀

love Biffy…I always hear a Mr Bungle influence in their earlier work, and I know Simon is a fan of Mike Patton. “In the Name of the Wee Man” is a somewhat more recent Biffy song you might get into

I have no idea what a jaggy snake is but I imagine it's what this song looks like on paper

Biffy are notorious for messing with time signatures they will literally go out of their way to do this

Man... I like some of newer Biffy Clyro. Haven't heard this, but assume it's olllld. It's actually giving me early Jimmy Eat World vibes. Which I love. I am digging this track. Happy to experience it for the first time here!

To be fair some of the new album has very progressive elements

It’s from their album Infinity Land, released in 2004. I would definitely check it out.

Hello. look and appreciate SLAUGHTER TO PREVAIL - DEMOLISHER (Drum Play-Through by Evgeny Novikov) Interested to know your opinion

I agree. They have so many more much better songs. A lot of the fan base cling to their older stuff though. Each to their own.

Luv you uncle Dave 👍 Hated the song 👎 What the bananas was that ? Is that a song for Roosters ???? This is the first time I had to turn off a music video that was just so bad! it’s the worse thing I’ve ever heard on your channel was the other song you did by them this bad? I’ll avoid this band if it ever comes up at least I get a heads up for the future Feel free anybody to tell me the rating cos there’s not a Pokémon’s chance of me ever watching it to the end

Don't judge the band on this song. It was early on their career. They are truly amazing and you'd be missing out in probably (one of) the best bands in the world today.

I’m not a fan of the screams at the beginning but if you carried on listening you might have liked it. Never judge a book by its cover
@jmurray20182 жыл бұрын
@@TheRombo91 gd point well I’ll wait for another suggestion for this band if it’s as bad as this then bad for them let’s hope they prove me wrong , oh an on judging a book by it’s cover sometimes I’ll do that but I’m good with it especially if it a 101 Brownie Recipes and there’s a heavenly brownie on the cover sayin eat me 🙃

Yeah the thing about Biffy is they'll try to throw you off by making music that makes you almost uncomfortable until you get used to the song, like a horror/ thriller movie! They're an acquired tastes for sure, nobody enjoyed their first beer
@123brizy2 жыл бұрын
I'd also add that not all music has to sound pretty, sometimes art makes you squirm and comes in raw and emotional formats. It can make you reflect on your own life and that's what Biffy have done for me
