They have reached an amazing level of artistic grandiosity, although they are so overly productive in the last few years. "Balance, not symmetry" was totally different, but a fuck..g masterpiece in variety (I like it more than "Ellipsis") a year later "Celebration of endings" and in a month the next masterpiece to come. Of course not every song on all the last records was great, but still BC is the Best Rock/Alternative Band in the world at the moment and no one is close in my opinion.

I agree. They know their sound, while clearly experimenting on every album. They have better and worse songs like every band but the scope of their innovative imagination grows with every album. Lyrically tight, their technical mastery is obvious. I mean one of their best albums is Similarities, which all B-Sides!! Incredible. Best band in the world in my opinion. Have been for years

@@pol_420 no, you totally misunderstood my point here - it is an amazing thing, to be able to be overly productive and maintain such a high level of quality! Others of my favorite bands offer an album all 3-5 years (Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters), and still are just OK on their quality level compared to the Biff. Don't know how they can do it, but they are perfectly awesome.

@@kssmyw Lonely Revolutions, Similarities and Missing Pieces all have songs that are easily three times better and more innovative than what most bands put out in decades. Biffy had me since I listened to them for the first time. The Captain was my first time taking this drug. Best rock band for me. And I think more bands should try a stratocaster to play a more garage sound. Doesn't have to be polished at all, man. It's called rock.

Been a biffy fan for 17 now! Wow.. fell in love with them when Infinity Land came out. Got immediately hooked on Glitter and Trauma, and the rest is history. @@del8224 Yeah, the majority of the video is filmed at Dunaskin Brickworks out in Patna direction, the abandoned buildings and the tyre shots - good place to visit and walk along the railway and into the buildings. I'm surprised they didn't show the railway and the abandoned machinery as they are pretty cool. Wouldn't recommend going on your own though if you get spooked easy! The beach looks like it is between Irvine and Barassie beach - I've walked along it enough to recognise the shot at 2 mins 15 secs. Not too sure on the woods shots - don't think it's Culzean and struggling to picture anywhere around here that has woods that vast and open but it must be around here, either somewhere along the coast or Aberfoyle area due to probably being restricted on travel and keeping it local due to size of film crew and cast and whatever else cos of covid

Pretty much at the Western Gailes golf club, that sorta section of the beach I'm sure and would make sense as it's accessible and easy enough without walking for ages with camera equipment. I walk the golf club to Barassie a couple times a month if the weather's decent. Lawthorn born and bred here!

I saw them in a small tent in 2002 at "Gig on The Green" as it was then called. Didn't know anything about them but was drawn in by the power of the sound. They were playing their whole Blackened Sky album and it blew me away. I got a biffy 'b' tattoo the next week and it's been confused for Bebo ever since. I'd say this is my favourite song from them which is an incredible achievement as bands tend to fizzle out over time. Great times.

The first song is amazing from beginning to end. The second song started off with me feeling "A slow song, not as good as the other one, but I can appreciate it". Then as it went on I almost turned it off as I was getting bored. I remember seeing Biffy Clyro years ago when they were supporting InMe. I was a big InMe fan and when I got to the venue I saw there was quite a number of Biffy fans, and I had never even heard of them. It was strange because usually the support bands were way smaller and Biffy brought an amazing following with them. When they hit the stage I saw why. You could tell they were gonna be bigger than InMe one day, and it sure as hell didn't take long. I bet most people reading this haven't even heard of InMe.
