I'm laughing, because after watching your videos and listening to you rag on Ares the whole time, out of curiosity, I picked up my Ares amoeba amd plugged it into my 11.1v and it died on me, and this wasn't the first time either, the last time, it just started working again for no reason.

The only good thing about ARES is that they have beautiful externals. The proprietary nature of it's internals just kills their guns. If they would have just done the commonly used gerboxes and parts. They would probably be selling their guns like hot cakes. Knowing you can eventually upgrade or buy parts without any issues. They just basically shot themselves on the foot with trying to be ''different''. I was almost about to buy this because this is on sale with a 15% off. Glad I re-visited Negative Airsoft, I will just have to wait for a better M110 or perhaps get a CA25 with full markings.

Best bet get the G&g sr25. Then get the hanguard you want. The g2 gear box is upgradeable. But it is not really needed. All that's needed is a reshimming. A perun is optional since it is a dmr. The sr25 is the same price as the g&g 308. But you get the trademarks for the same price. But this could have changed since I got it 2 years ago when they were the sane price. If the prices are different, let me know please. Have a good day.

Check your gearbox it could be your anti reversal latch or your gears aren’t shimmed properly or it could be having compression issues. If you can look at it first (if you’re willing to) and make sure you have idea of what the problem could be or take it to a local store or hobby shop and see if they can take a look at it

If the customer is willing to pay for my time on an Ares with that dumb efcs, I’ve swapped the Ares gearbox out with something like a Lonex drop in. It takes an incredible amount of time on something like an Ares sr-16 but it can be done. I otherwise refuse to touch them.

@@Solidsnake0208 didn’t have so much of an issue with the selector. Spent most of the time grinding the gearbox and receiver to make it all fit. Spent a good 4 hours doing that making sure not to compromise the lower. I’ve also done similar with an Amoeba and used my last systema gb and a gate Titan. A lot less work with the plastic receivers.

@@coachster 🤣. same here. after hours of slowly grinding to fit a new gearbox in, all the pin holes lining up perfectly, the damn thing couldnt fire more than .3 joules. turns out the ares is a bit longer/sits forward and in turn the hopup wouldnt align with the magazine. had to make a spacer to go between the hop and the gearbox. ares efc is a damn miserable gearbox and they did a great job making it a pain in the ass to replace. not even starting on all the stupid shit they do with their bodies..

Broke my fuckin ares gearbox at dmr *430*fps in less than 1k rounds. The shitter of it all? It jumped magically to 532 fps. So surprised and took it apart and found it cracked clean at the front. How it made MORE power???? Ares magic

@@danmclean7375 a lot of the US, the Philippines, Berget with an MED, various parts of Europe. theres a lot of places with fairly Liberal power limits especially if you have something set for semi automatic only and use a trigger delay.

So I have the blaster which is supposed to have the the same threaded rear cap with the inner lip but screws onto the 14mm ASG adaptor fine. Does the tracer not screw on to the end of the asg 14mm adaptor at all?

I worked on one of those Secutor Rapax DMRs and it was shite. Just a standard Ares doing 440 fps. Did another Ares the next week and it was exactly the same inside. No air seal in either, and neither could hop a BB well at all no matter what hop rubber went in.

Most of acetechs latest range. i had the lighterBT the one with the inbuilt chrono. It does have red and green modes but sticking it in red mode works for both at the side effect of slightly less bright greens

I lnew ares was propietary with the micro switch trigger but its even worse than i thought. This is why i wont get a tavor or an ef g36c. I don't want to deal with a micro switch. If i want a g36c, ill get a cyma high speed from taiwan gun.

Do Ares Buffer tubes fit on GBBR? They have that thick spaced threading,always wondered?BTW I was Acetech Taiwans Tracer lab rat years ago,and the reason tracers have and come with o rings! I tested their first Predator L an got the end bells stuck till i put my own o rings on them and showed it to them. They sent me a case of all the tracers they were coming out with as a thanks and they all now had or came with o rings! That unboxing is on my chan Luke!

@@planetcaravan2925 it's a 2014 EBR and it's honestly been the worst rifle I have ever bought. Low fps, poor accuracy, and generally sqealier than a frightened pig.........but boy is it a beauty. I just wished it was worth lugging it around on a game day as its heavier than a collapsed star 🌟
