Big B, I'm surprised, that t"m the first to leave a comment, I commend you for the way you analyze the games and make your comments. You don't sugarcoat, give praise where praise is due and when you talk about shortcomings you do it in such way as not to offend anyone. And so courageous to admit that you've been been wrong, whenever that does happen. This makes you stand out among many who try to do what you're doing. May the Good Lord bless you!

Re ISU, you're absolutely right. The problem for ISU is that they're running out of LB's. They have so many injuries that they're playing walk-ons. Some players who play regularly can't even travel with the team for road games because of NCAA roster limit restrictions. The injury situation at linebacker is that bad. That's why defending the run is a problem for ISU this season, and UCF did a great job exploiting that weakness. Brown and Harvey practically ran at will. They averaged 9.1 yards a carry. I felt that Brown could get at least 5 yards any time he wanted. Like you said he needs to throw the ball accurately especially when pressured. Great show as always!
@Big12Insiders15 күн бұрын
The LB issues at ISU are alarming. You're correct. But that was a ton of yards. They might need to move some safeties to that spot of they haven't already.

All props to Baylor, but Tech's defense wasn't the biggest issue during the game. Their special teams was a disaster...

I can respect that. But giving up 529 total yards and 59 points would be the biggest issue.

UCF's coaching is a bigger problem than their defense. That last drive should have never happened with even the slightest thought to clock management. UCF was up in the 4th averaging 9+ yards a carry and still going fast with plenty of time on the play clock and every pass attempt was a low percentage bomb. And what's more annoying is that we do the opposite when playing from behind... No down field passes and they take their time. I'll admit we suck but it's annoying that we have no idea how good our team might be. Like would anyone feel comfortable betting on BYU over UCF? Will BYU even be favored Saturday? This conference wild man...
@Big12Insiders16 күн бұрын
BYU will be favored. Plus they may have found a running game which we know UCF is allergic to stopping. But you're right. The coach was atrocious. Bleed the clock and give your team a chance.
@40to3815 күн бұрын
Bad Rush defense was our issue last season... We are 2nd in the big 12 in rush defense but that has more to do with how bad our passing defense is. We do have the most rushing per game by 40 yards among all power 4 teams but hasn't worked out great for us so far. If we upgraded to a below average coach and below average passing game, we would be unstoppable! Looks like you are right though, we are 2 point underdogs so far. Think how crazy that is in big 12 terms... You can make a case for BYU being the best in the conference and UCF being the worst and you got a 2 point spread.

The way this league is, I think the top 2 teams(keeping them anonymous😂) could slip. I can see a Colorado or Cincy coming out of the shadows and into the XII title game.

I think both BYU and ISU proved they have the moxy to pull their heads out of their butts before an upset happened. It's a real sign that these two teams are capable of winning even after 3 or major game setback..

This dude. Nobody wants to talk about the 3rd and 10 ghost PI call to an ineligible WR at the 4 who had stepped out of bounds on a flag thrown from the end zone with a ref right on the play who didn’t. Or the ghost off sides at the goal line that wasn’t called and would have backed up IST. 5 yards and ran off 10 second off the clock. Changes everything. UCF will continue to improve but this week is more of the same. UCF vs BYU and the refs protecting it. By word of the B12.
