I have no problem with BYU being 4th, they blew their chance to hit the playoffs with horrible offensive play. ARod has got to go, two seasons of underperforming on offense is two (too) much. It was so nice of Utah to unselfishly lose some games rather than being piggy and sweeping the Big 12.

I can sum up the college football corruption this way. 3 loss Alabama, based on nothing tangible, is ranked several spots ahead of Iowa State. One of the ways this happens is because every time they beat an unranked opponent, they got up 2+ spots in the rankings. When 2 loss Iowa State beats ranked-all-year K State, they only move up 1 spot. When your system is that obviously corrupt and nonsensical, you get the AP rankings. They are so puke worthy, there's nothing else to say about it.

Have you watched Iowa St.? They would lose to Colorado and Baylor if they played today. Rocco Becht completed just 13 of 35 throws against K State! ASU is going to win by double digits in the Championship. I'd prefer to watch Iowa St. play BYU in a bowl game. That's a fair fight.

Bro do you realize that it felt like 1 degree vs the game against k-state? And you are forgetting the fact that that Tyson is out for asu? ASU is gonna be a dormant offense all game except for the run game. ISU a has the #1 pass defense in the big 12, plus their 1,000 yd receivers will be playing, Jayden Higgins and Jaylin Noel. Especially if BYU has to play CU in the projected Alamo bowl. Which, by the way, makes no sense to me for having two teams from the same conference playing each other. Why not play a Big 10 or sec team. But maybe those conferences are afraid to play BIG 12 teams. Anyway, what happens will happen, it's not in our decision to make.

@@ronk.6226 the pac 12 just fell apart a year ago they still have contractual bowl tie-ins to fulfill. the alamo bowl is big 12 vs pac 12, the four pac-12 refugees from the Big XII that are eligible will go to those contracted bowls unless ASU manages to get into the 12 team playoff representing the Big XII

CU may atract more viewers for the Bowl game but BYU would definitely fill it up with more fans. Although I doubt two teams from the same conference would be matched up in a bowl game.

I like that you want your league to be successful but just look at the numbers. The talking heads are not just saying bama would win for the shit of it. Every single metric points that way and if you do watch the games. You can not sit there and tell me byu would beat bama anywhere when they are both playing at their best.

We will never know because the bowl committees won't schedule match ups with the two conferences. If the sec is so great, why does the sec only play 8 conference teams and 4 non conference games, which are usually unranked, lower quality teams. What is the sec afraid of? I think they don't want to run the risk of losing a game that would hurt their rankings. Sec, step up and play ranked non conference teams to prove your real ability and not hyped propaganda.

Colorado and TCU could beat MIZZOU by double dígits. TCU is loaded with talent on offense but…. Seems like the Aggies may duck Baylor to avoid playing them in the TEXAS Bowl.

@jwolf2254 I chuckle at that statement, the sec isn't the almighty conference that ESPN and others claim it is. This year, especially where all the top teams(except Oregon) have at least one loss and up to three losses like Alabama. So there is more parity this year, and any team can be beaten by any other team on any given day. And we will never know if a ranked BIG 12 team can beat a sec team when they don't schedule them as a non conference game in the regular season.

@@ronk.6226 no its not as good as it has been but its just facts the sec has more 5 and 4 star recruits. Even there bad teams like Oklahoma is loaded with talent. They lose benefit of the doubt when they lose 3 games but they gain that back when conferences with less talent are beating each other in november. I just dont see how you can look at the resumes and say byu deserves it over any of the 3 loss sec teams
