I really like the longer video. Was so entertaining to watch in 4K on the bigger monitor. I have always want to check out that area. So many downed trees. I sometimes think the Forest Service does it on purpose to discourage use of old roads. Imagine camping for a night, then when you're headed back to the truck, a giant tree had just fallen and you can't get out. I guess you could walk. ; )

Very cool, perfect Ruckus ride, who says it's not adventure bike. Road tripped and camped through there once years ago, cool to see it again

Dang man. Good to see you laughing so much. I understand the work insanity. It’ll wreck you if you aren’t careful.

That's why I am finally working part-time. My health is more important than work. Mostly. I mean, I like money, but I also enjoy being alive.

Nice video… the Forsa shock for Ruckus will stiffen the rear up considerably. It’s a drop-in replacement

Small bore gang. Twin cylinder ADV bikes are for the birds.

Small bikes are fun in the backwoods. Something really organic being pulled along by a tiny engine that bogs a little on uphill grades. Makes the rider a lot more connected to the road rather than a bigger bike with power to blow through anything.

You should try putting some foot pegs on there. Having them on my Ruckus made off road way more comfortable Not to mention being able to stand Great video!

I have 3 ruckus. I just don’t tell them they aren’t off-road adventure bikes. My oldest one is beat to crap with almost 5000 miles, a 2016. Still running strong. If I could somehow find a way to stay on roads posted 25 mph speed limit, I’d cross the country on it. I have the same windscreen, same problem every time I took it on dirt roads. Use lock tight then tighten the heck out of it. Been holding for a year now. Thanks for the video…..cool trip!

@@dualdorks I’m inspired by that rider named “Mike” who rode his ruckus 80,000 miles. Key west to Alaska and all around. I simply can’t figure out how he did it safely. I have yet to find any route to take on a longer journey that wouldn’t put me next to fast moving cars driven by people on their phones. When I ride on streets with posted 45 limits I about get run over. People do 55 and I’m maybe at 32. I’ve had a few instances where it pisses people off so they actually swerve at me, or cut in front of me abruptly barely missing me. Wish I could figure out how to do it safely.

@@dualdorksI would love to do that too. Trying to plan something big on my Navi, but I think the Ruck is much better built machine for a big trip. Either way you nailed it when you talked about the hum of the little motor pushing you along, its addicting. Check this guy's channel out if you haven't. Cool series of vids riding a Ruckus from Quebec to NYC kzbin.info/www/bejne/aZmwhaJqjM2ofdEsi=rOW2KK06SdIKCF32

A bit late to the party...Capitol Forest(near Olympia) is a fun area to run around on the Ruckus. Combine roads and trails for nearly a 100-mile day, plus dispersed camping. I swap between my Honda Ruckus & 1962 model B Tote Gote.

Just put this shock on my 2024 ruckus (same color) this shock is a game changer. Just crank the preload up a bit and don’t forget the spanner wrench. BTW I’m also in the PNW
