I'm a seasoned a day hiker and fly fisherman, but very new to backpacking. I just did my fist overnight in the Adirondacks and it is safe to say that I am addicted! I have the 2P Copper Spur and I love it. Though, I am looking into the Nemo 2P OSMO Dagger. As someone who is also 6'1", I love high ceilings that 50ft floor space. Other than that, I love my Big Aggie! Love the video man, you have yourself a new follower.

REI has a ridiculously good sale on this tent now, so I picked one up. Then I ordered the green one as well because they didn't have it in the store. Now I'll do a side by side comparison of the color because I can't decide from the online photos and videos, LOL. One will get returned.

One thing that have me a bit confused about the rain cover, is that it have string loops on the inside. It's like they are meant for the tent poles, and alignes the raincover better, but it's cumbersome to set up. Do you know if that is the intended use, or is it for something else?

That sort of thing is meant to utilize in more extreme weather situations to keep the rainfly secure. Thanks for commenting!

I just wish they would make the floor rectangle instead of tapered so two 25” sleeping pads would fit without having to go with a three person one.

Definitely agree with you on that one!

How do you use the outer fly with just trekking poles?

Hey there! Follow the link in the description to the copper spur landing page and you will see a solid picture of the fast fly setup! Great question. Thanks.

@@ridgeandriver you can't use it with just trekking poles. I wanted you to tell me how you did it. 🤷🏻♂️

Idk man. Its a good tent but the ground sheet is shaped like shit and the mesh is very weak. After a few years its deteriorated and has many holes and Ive had to patch them up. I would NOT Recommend letting this thing see the sun for any extended period of time.

Thanks for your input. I've personally used this tent for quite a long time and have used on several multiday trips, overnight use, and general camping. I have had no issues with tearing or holes. We appreciate your comment!
