I was 14 when all this happened. 😢 I could barely watch the news during my teen years, because of the horrible Viet Nam stories. Most of my boyfriends were Viet Nam vets. Some of them just never could completely recover. God forbid this ever happening to my precious grandsons…or to yours. Thanks to all our service men and women.

For my dear friend, Sgt. Major Eaton, Smithfield HS .... Thank you for being a storyteller Kris Kristofferson.... One of the wonderful men that I had the privilege of working under was the Survivor of this campaign his license plates in the Commonwealth of Virginia as Nov. 8th along with his Purple Heart Insignia plates I knew him as my friend and so did my father. SGT. MAJ. ANTHONY EATON. This man took it upon himself as a community member an educated veteran to establish a new JROTC program in Smithfield Virginia, that it matters but sergeant major Eaton was an African-American gentleman

think about them this memorial day 2023. we need to pay respect to those who died. but also need to pay respect those who survived and carried on with shell shock or any variation of post traumatic stress disorder (ptsd) war is hell on earth for those who served. and very few can talk about. and those who can do it reverently talk about. and those who brag about are severely mentally messed upped. if you meet a service veteran pay them respect for serving. but do not expect a pleasant return. some are still fighting mad about the disrepect in a trump faulty towers construction demolition trumpster humpster dumpster. for blatant disrespect for american pow housed at the hanoi hilton in north vietnam. navy pilot john mccain had a 5+ year stint of daily abuse in that hanoi hilton. and try to forgive hanoi jane fonda. she jmtried to help our service folka stuck in prision in that hanoi hilton. maybe not much luck but she sincerely tried to help. a battle in its own right. just thank you god to still be a beegee and staying alive.
