Have them buy Speed: The Ride that is sitting behind the strip by the McDonald's and take this coaster out and put Speed in its place. It's a funner ride in my opinion anyways.

Yes! Speed didn't look like much but it was super fun. Manhattan Express / Roller Coaster / Big Apple Coaster has always been terrible. Even if it was smooth, the pacing sucks.

The rumours are that Premier put the chain dog onto the wheel assembly rather than the chassis, causing it to fail under the weight. Premier is fully responsible, and so they'll have to repair the ride free of charge most likely.

It's better to derail on the lift hill than on the downhill at full speed.

Yikes! That stair damage looks bad. What a strange clash of moments: the new investment clearly says they were thinking long-term, but that damage may force them to re-think. I hope it emerges and remains. Good coaster or bad coaster, I’d like to get a chance to ride it.

I just had my first ride on the big apple coaster and it was fun and painful at the same time. I hit my head on the over-the-shoulder restraints and I had a little bit of a headache after it because it was so rough. It also had the blood rushing to my head after the 2 inversions. I basically enjoyed it and hated it at the same time lol.

I know I am late but I was on it in March and it seems fine. Just a couple of head bumps, otherwise the ride is great!

The damage to the catwalk can easily be fixed and the train most likely had a manufacturing defect. They will easily be able to use a chain to lift the train off the hill and repair the problem and since there is a catwalk on both sides of the lift they might just remove that catwalk all together since it isn’t really needed

You guys love to be negative about everything and anything. It got new trains and half of it (lol) got painted. They are keeping it around.
