1st time viewer and your newest subscriber. I'm a former UCF player, from the early 2000's still learning the Big 12. Great job breaking it down.

So so good to see ISU win. From a power perspective, they probably deserve the top spot. The problem for ISU is they play 5 of the top teams. Utah didn’t do much of anything without Cam.

Good rankings, I might have some teams a little higher or lower but mostly I would agree with these.

I promise it will be different next week. I'm glad you like the list.

Big B, I love your coverage of K-State and the Big 12. I will say as a life long K-State fan and alum, I can see the talent is better than it has been in a long time, but I see them learning some hard lessons this year. I can see the team easily finishing in the middle of the league with an 7-9 win season. The depth of the 2023 recruiting class in skill and talent is showing, but the inexperience is showing as well.

I appreciate the kind words. I think kstate has some learning to do, but it's a long season.

I wonder how many Big 12 teams have a P4 road win. Is it just ISU and BYU?

Ollie Gordon did "nothing" but score the winning touchdown and catch the 2-pt conversion
@Big12InsidersАй бұрын
He did nothing based on his talent and you know that. Let's not be silly just to argue.

I’m not buying the Arkansas is decent, but OSU did win. Pretty much the same for Tulane/ksu.
@HollaIfYaHemi392Ай бұрын
GO Cowboys. 32-10 second half points that Noone is talking about is mind blowing.. Arkansas wasn't even suppose to win the game in the begin with lol Osu beat themselves. Hopefully you guys come to the biggest game of the year for big 12 utah vs okstate in stillwater
@Big12InsidersАй бұрын
They won the game in spite of not playing very well. Thats due to Gundy being a great coach and the team being pretty good.

Arizona State is -1 at Texas State, and I can see TSU’s A-game threatening ASU’s C-game, but assuming ASU wins, what’s more impressive - a home steamroller over a sub-average SEC team on ESPN late night or an ugly road win against a good G5 squad in a look-ahead game?
@Big12InsidersАй бұрын
The road win over G5 team. SEC has been top heavy for years.
@williamjasper2734Ай бұрын
Having Arizona above Arizona State shows that you didn’t watch this Arizona team… they are not that good. Losing at half to both winless New Mexico & FCS NAU, both at home… 20:09
@johnlee7085Ай бұрын
There’s no indication that Mississippi State has a good football HC. MSU has been just above Vandy. ASU deserves to be elevated.
@SteelersAlmightyАй бұрын
There isn't an indication that they don't. Mississippi State has been a lot better than Vandy.

🤣 ignore the delusional Bearcats fans. Once Scott loses to Miami of Ohio in Oxford this weekend, the entire fan base will revolt! Zero accountability from Sun visor Scott. Big B, the AD gave an interview essentially stating the players who couldn't handle losing from last season are gone, the new additions handle losing better. WHAT ARE WE DOING B??? loser mentality. John Cunningham (AD) can leave with his hire, sun visor man! Go Bearcats!

As a diehard Louisville fan, I was overjoyed that UC took him off our hands. UC fans deserve better. You really do.

The purple hue of the glasses in these two is showing. KU lost to a P4 school on the road which is more than we can say for several schools in the BigXII this year. Should they drop for losing the game? Yes. However, if you watched the game, every unit for KU was nails in that game except Daniels (and we know what he usually is from past years). Should they be 6 or 7. Absolutely. 10? That's just ludicrous and seems tainted by your bias.
@Big12InsidersАй бұрын
The defense wasn't "nails." The coaching wasn't either. As I mentioned, they should have continued to run the football, which was working. Versus continuing to allow Daniels to struggle. But more importantly, they lost. Playing a mid-level P4 team on the road doesn't give you an excuse to lose. Other teams won. You have to reward that. I appreciate the feedback.
@kuhwksАй бұрын
@@Big12Insidersif you watched the game, the defense only gave up 13 points. (pick 6 and int in FG range were the other scores). The front 7 was great in comparison to past years (especially considering it was supposed to be a potential weakness). The secondary gave up a couple of big plays, but those weren't against the "Big 2" and took some Sportscenter type catches by WRs to complete. I don't see how defensively keeping a P4 team to 13pts on the raid isn't pretty great. Several BigXII schools couldn't do that against lessor competition, at home no less.
@jbrock8596Ай бұрын
Please stop. Ranked KU went onto the road to a perennial Big Ten cellar dweller and got embarrassed. Be happy Yormark didn’t trade you to PAC-2 for Wazzou.
