@ghostislosingit4 жыл бұрын
This has got to be some form of child abuse. 1) Loading your child up with sugar and chocolate instead of providing them with the necessity of sleep because a trophy is more important to you? 2) Forcing your 18 month old child to perform on stage in makeup and fake hair when she probably has no idea of what she's doing? Look at the poor girl! She's consistently distressed while they're putting makeup and hair on her. 3) Forcing her to perform after she hits her head on a solid wood door and then only caring about the fact that your score will be lowered? Taking such a hard hit to the head at such a young age can't be good for her. She could have a severe concussion but it probably went unnoticed as they never took her to the hospital or doctors. Also, the distance between the mother and the door was not enough space for Brystol to sit up properly as the mother moved closer to the door way sooner than she should of. 4) Look at the before and after footage. Before she's a normal, happy 18 month old and after she's a distressed and injured child whose cries are being ignored by her mother. That seems like severe negligence to me. Then the way she cries and tries to cling to her mother for comfort, like any normal child would, but just gets turned around and forced to keep going, while her mother obviously ignores the emotional distress and physical pain her child is experiencing. 5) Berating your child for doing bad after she took a hit to the head and was clearly in pain, purely because you want a trophy that she doesn't even care about? Your child's emotional, mental and physical health should always come before anything else and this woman clearly does not care about any of those more than she cares about a bit of plastic. 6) The way her mother does the bare minimum to comfort her daughter before forcing her on stage. Then, while on stage, her daughter reaches out for her father, perhaps hoping he will come and comfort her, and again receiving nothing. Her relationship with her parents is going to be so backwards when she grows up because she will likely think that she has to achieve something big in order to recieve praise from her parents when good parents should praise their child for both the little and big things. That's reflected by the way the mother doesn't care that her daughter won a trophy when it's not first place. It's selfish and disgusting behaviour and I wouldn't be surprised if this seriously affects Brystol as she gets older. There should at least be a minimum age for these pageants and the child should consent to doing this, 18 months is too young to be putting your child through this kind of, for lack of a better term, torture.

Wowzers. That baby girl was still happy and content with her trophy. She's a baby and she doesn't know that it represents '5th place'. Instead of applauding and congratulating her daughter the Mum had her own tantrum and said that she doesn't even want the trophy as it was only 5th place and that her baby can chew on same... Charming!!!!

This is what got me. At first i thought ok dress up is fun but today was a bad day for family with bumping into stuff and scaring baby. But oh look the judges make sure they all get a trophy to take home isnt that cute bcus the infant doesn't know whats going on except she won something so now the family can make her feel better like ok we didnt have fun today but look baby you won a prize for being so brave! Instead you see by moms tantrum reaction that for this family at least it is definitely NOT about playing dress up building confidence at all. No its about a young moms deep issues around her worth she is projecting on a terrified infant who she makes responsible for solving her psyche wounds so she can find worth vicariously through the baby...because the baby failed to fulfill and "sabotaged" moms need to feel worthy - so she cant allow the poor baby to enjoy her prize or feel proud. So gross. How do people not see how obvious their issues are???? Lady, get a grip and a psychptherapist. Youre a joke
