Omg a huge yes to this whole video-you’re reading my mind!!! ❤ I’m having the same internal debate about big bags and expanding my work bag collection. I too have been pining over a K35 to add to my collection as a work bag, but thank you for putting the Fendi peekaboo on my radar! I just hadn’t considered it for some reason, but it definitely gives Kelly vibes. Maybe a good “betweener” to see if I’d even LIKE that style of bag for work, as I’m usually a tote gal. 🤔😊 At any rate, thank you! I’ll tag you if I end up getting something that you’ve influenced me on… after all, your B35 videos influenced me to get mine! 😉🧡

Great video! I love the Chanel executive Cerf tote for work - I have used it for almost 15 years now! Didn’t use it much during Covid and exactly like you said, since going back to the office post-Covid, it’s become my go-to work bag again. I’ve been on the look out for another big work bag too, but actually anything I come across are not as practical and smart looking as my Chanel tote - it fits a laptop, has a back pocket that I can use for files, and has a front pocket (with cc lock) for things I need to keep safe. The style has been discontinued but sells for a good price on resale market. 😊😊

Really wish that Chanel can bring this style back, or something similar, for those of us that need a smart work bag! Mine is in a really nice blue colour with silver hardware, which goes so nicely with my usual go-to corporare colours 🙈 of navy, grey and black actually. But still wish I could have another one in black and gold hardware!

@@everydayluxury I know! There's something so simple and elegant about that design that makes it so good for work without being flashy! Not to be an enabler, but having both ones in silver AND gold hardware makes sense to me 😅

Hermes artisan actually advised me to go for a birkin for a work bag since it’s double handle compared to Kelly as to which I was originally leaning towards at. I would say pick any of your options that are double handle just to have a more long last time evergreen work bag than can withstand the test of time ❤

That's actually a really good point, just because a bag is capable of carrying a lot, doesn't mean its necessarily good for the integrity of the bag. I'm curious how the Kelly 35 wears over time, when it's filled to the brim and used everyday for work...

@@abriefcaseofluxury I would use the Olsen twins as a reference, I noticed how worn their Kelly bag is, like even the handle looks like I needed a break that they something had to hold their bag from the base of the bag.

I have a 15 inch macbook. I keep it in a sturdy case, and carry around whatever bag I want! I bought a new Birkin 30 (noir + palladium), but my desire for a B25 is still strong. I hope B25 prices fall!

Great video! I use my Mulberry Bayswater for work. Fits my laptop, is slouchy, unassuming. But I wish I had a Birkin 35 like yours :) Someday...

I have the Birkin 35, but part of me still wants the Bayswater to rotate in for work so it goes to show, I think we just like bags lol! 😅

I’ve always loved the look of the Bayswater, I have a little heart flip whenever I see one. Good to know it can be used as a work bag! Does it get heavy? (People ask this about the birkin35 too and although the answer is yes, it’s worth it!!) 😉

@@wittingchicit can get heavy, but when i arrive to work i take out my laptop and set my bag aside. And i travel via a vehicle or train…but yeah i wouldn’t want to carry it around all day :)

That's a good point - I think I just naturally assume that if I want a leather bag of this size, weight is non-negotiable, especially if you want the leather to be thick and substantial enough. Plus, I easily carry 7+ pounds for work, not including the weight of the bag, so what's another 2-3 pounds... 😅

If you’re commuting via train or really carrying it longer distances, I think it’s more of a consideration, but as it is, if it’s just from your car into a building (as it is for me) I think anything goes, anyone could schlep around a bowling ball for 5 minutes 🤣😂😅😁
