Love your Speedy 35. Especially that this was your baby bag!!!! I think as long as a bag is big enough to carry everything you need you can use it for whatever you want! ❤

The Speedy 35 was my very first LV purchase in 2007. It was my wish bag since the 80s. I bought it from the boutique for my 47th birthday. I still have it and still use it. It’s held up very nicely and still looks great. I polish the lock every few years. Mine has been shoved under plane seats and used in every type of weather. Although I don’t use it often when I do it’s like visiting an old friend. Love it so much I bought the same size in DE several years ago. It’s a classic for sure and will be in my collection till the end. I’m happy to see your appreciation for the vintage LVS.

i have a vintage speedy 30, that I had the leather redone. I love the vintage LV due to the canvas being better quality. tfs xoxo

Thank you!! 😊 Yes, this one was from the eBay seller luxe-brand-Japan (aka luxe-brand-cerisier) but in my experience all of the big Japanese luxury sellers are reliable. Happy shopping!! 😉

It’s luxe-brand-cerisier (also known as luxe-brand-Japan)! The trick is to watch the bag and wait a bit-they’ll send you an offer for a great discount! 😉 You’d I’d have to dig a bit to find one in good shape, not all are this good. But still! Let me know if this helps! 😊

Did you have to pay customs fees to order from Japan?

Hi! Typically yes, on anything over $800. But I’ve been lucky in not having customs fees on anything purchased through eBay authentication from Japan, because it goes to their location first and they resend it to me. At least that’s my experience!
