Beautiful design and materials for Lonzo Ball’s signature shoes when he was with Big Baller Brand (BBB). I would have never cared for or known about these sneakers if it wasn’t designed by BrandBlack’s David Raysse and reviewed (and praised) by Weartesters’ Chris Chase (nightwing2303). For the retail price of $179 I actually don’t recommend these for performance basketball, because there are many other much better performers at lower prices: Nike GT Cuts, KD14s, Curry 8s, Puma Clyde All Pros, Kyrie 7s, etc. 🏀 The Z02.19’s cushion is a bit less than what I want/need for basketball. It absorbs impact decently but does not have any bounciness or energy-return quality. If you don’t mind higher-price shoes and you like the BrandBlack-esque design, I would highly recommend the Rare Metal 2 at $250. Plus, I think/heard that BrandBlack is releasing another basketball model this year around $150 or even less. 😆

I did play in them! Really nice traction and support/fit. The cushion is quite basic in my experience/opinion - absorbs impact decently but not much bounce back or energy return characteristic. 😆

Do you know the production date of the product ? I’m curious whether these were the stock from 2019 or there just made it recently.

Great question! On the size tag there is “05.19” written so I’m inclined to think that they were manufactured in May 2019 👀
