Can't the cpu just decide it wants to use a bb3?

For enemies to use bb3 they have to hit us first, either blocked or successful hit. The most unfair it gets is when enemies combo burst into BB3. So as long as you parry the first hit cpu won't get in the BB3 activation range.

Cool video but i don't get how combo count being bugged mixes into this, pls explain (I'm not smart)

It's not that you are not smart but I hadn't explained anything in the video, sorry. So as you know Epic Sax has a SA that grants him up to 200% bonus damage per combo hit right? We might as well count that as 10 enrages. Then there is Big Band's Beat Extend BB1 which also grants bonus damage per combo hit. Though, due to a very old limiter, no matter the level of the BB1 you can only get to 200% more damage. So that is 10 more enrages. If he was actually doing 20 enrages worth of damage with his BB1 there wouldn't be much to complain, even about the limiter, which is far too punishing for a character that basically has no real utility or good damage imo. But there is something wrong with the damage. So here is my test with Heavy Metal, comparisons made with 0 combo count BB1 and 25 combo count BB1 (BB1 at +15 gets +8% damage per combo hit and the limiter is 200%) atk is 18,9k (11,882 -> 35,644 no armor) (23,485 -> 47,247 with armor [armor alone is equivalent to 5 enrages on heavy metal]) (35,087 -> 58,850 with armor and 5 enrages (so 10 enrages total) As you can see without external factors BB1 could actually do 200% more damage. But when we add other bonus damage factors scaling gets messy and he can't really do the damage he should.

Yeah that is why you intentionally give fake openings to bait enemies into attacking you so you can parry them. Otherwise they are just gonna wait until your parry wears off.

It negates enemy's resistance stat. It only helps against well-built defenses to stop enemies from randomly resisting it.

@@OtroGuapoMas Yeah sure, you gotta understand how AI works so you can understand when enemy is gonna hit you. As u can see in the vid, I mostly refrained parrying Beowulf because he has a command grab, same thing can be said to Cerebella too but I felt more comfortable against her even though she had command grabs too. It comes down to experience, because when I tried to parry Beowulf he used his command grab more than Cerebella did. Another thing to know is when enemies' gonna attack you after you finish your turn. After completing your ground combo and waiting for a split second enemies will take action, so knowing this u can initiate your parry beforehand. Same thing happens when you do two uncomplete ground combos like I did to blocking enemies throughout the video. After the second uncomplete combo enemies will take action, this is another opening where you can use your parry. Alternatively you can use Cymbal Clash in this step to seize the turn from them. Also I would like to point that when you are trying to open up your enemy and if enemies have blockbusters ready, parry gets safer than Cymbal Clash the more you use this tech because enemies get more like likely to use blockbusters instead of basic attacks. You will understand how AI works the more you play with this build. So it will come down to experience. Have fun.
