You can still pair her with Rock Star but this tech won't be as effective, she won't be able to perform a Blockbuster loop. Her main sell point is her other SA anyways, but I tried to utilize her second SA to the fullest. It is not that big of a problem imo.

As you can tell Buffer Zone pretty much requires the fight to be at least 2v2 so she can use her SA1 properly, this makes her somewhat a team-based variant as she will be used with a teammate. So why not make that teammate someone she is quite synergistic with. This is why I always paired her with Rock Star so she can support her to the max. This is also the reason why I went with accuracy and non maxed SA2. She pretty much has 90 tries (BB3+BB1 hit count) for 10% to activate at least 5 times so she can loop reliably (if paired with one Rock Star). Which is around %95 with no accuracy. With decent accuracy you can increase that chance to +%99. I just wanted to minimize the risks of the strat not working and also accuracy helps her ignore enemy resistance so she can apply hex against well-built defenders more easily. As for the special cd set, she isn't like Headhunter or X-bot. Her main purpose is not burst damage like them so I don't think she can use those sets so good as they do. Though you can try including the two BBs I used in the vid and as you cycle through BBs you can try to squeeze a special move between them. But at that point I would just use her as an Hex finisher, though depending on the opponent she could require accuracy as well. I would suggest my stats, I had no regrets building her this way. But you can just skip crit rate and crit damage if you want, I included them as she is going to crit everytime she would use BB1 and BB3 so might as well do a bit more damage.

@@OtroGuapoMas Yeah sure, you gotta understand how AI works so you can understand when enemy is gonna hit you. As u can see in the vid, I mostly refrained parrying Beowulf because he has a command grab, same thing can be said to Cerebella too but I felt more comfortable against her even though she had command grabs too. It comes down to experience, because when I tried to parry Beowulf he used his command grab more than Cerebella did. Another thing to know is when enemies' gonna attack you after you finish your turn. After completing your ground combo and waiting for a split second enemies will take action, so knowing this u can initiate your parry beforehand. Same thing happens when you do two uncomplete ground combos like I did to blocking enemies throughout the video. After the second uncomplete combo enemies will take action, this is another opening where you can use your parry. Alternatively you can use Cymbal Clash in this step to seize the turn from them. Also I would like to point that when you are trying to open up your enemy and if enemies have blockbusters ready, parry gets safer than Cymbal Clash the more you use this tech because enemies get more like likely to use blockbusters instead of basic attacks. You will understand how AI works the more you play with this build. So it will come down to experience. Have fun.

That said, early on I wouldn't advise investing in too many diamonds anyways, it is way too pricey and diamond keys are hard to come by at that level. So it doesn't really matter how many you have, even if it is just one you got a pretty good one.

Yeah that is why you intentionally give fake openings to bait enemies into attacking you so you can parry them. Otherwise they are just gonna wait until your parry wears off.

It negates enemy's resistance stat. It only helps against well-built defenses to stop enemies from randomly resisting it.

For enemies to use bb3 they have to hit us first, either blocked or successful hit. The most unfair it gets is when enemies combo burst into BB3. So as long as you parry the first hit cpu won't get in the BB3 activation range.

It's not that you are not smart but I hadn't explained anything in the video, sorry. So as you know Epic Sax has a SA that grants him up to 200% bonus damage per combo hit right? We might as well count that as 10 enrages. Then there is Big Band's Beat Extend BB1 which also grants bonus damage per combo hit. Though, due to a very old limiter, no matter the level of the BB1 you can only get to 200% more damage. So that is 10 more enrages. If he was actually doing 20 enrages worth of damage with his BB1 there wouldn't be much to complain, even about the limiter, which is far too punishing for a character that basically has no real utility or good damage imo. But there is something wrong with the damage. So here is my test with Heavy Metal, comparisons made with 0 combo count BB1 and 25 combo count BB1 (BB1 at +15 gets +8% damage per combo hit and the limiter is 200%) atk is 18,9k (11,882 -> 35,644 no armor) (23,485 -> 47,247 with armor [armor alone is equivalent to 5 enrages on heavy metal]) (35,087 -> 58,850 with armor and 5 enrages (so 10 enrages total) As you can see without external factors BB1 could actually do 200% more damage. But when we add other bonus damage factors scaling gets messy and he can't really do the damage he should.

You need to be sure you are going to have at least one evasion after French Twist ends, if you have none just block. It is crucial to have at least one evasion so you can proceed with your ground combo while negating enemy's attacks and that is why it only works on Windswept unfortunately.

That is quite an open-ended question, depends on what you have. You can check Zeow and Kevin Pepino's variant reviews if you need help to decide which character is worth investing. For early game save some Ringlet Spike moves for Filia, as bleed can deal with most of the defenders without requiring ATK.

@@enderknighthuy5044 Most of the time you block until your opponent gives you an opening to attack this is the safest way if enemy doesn't have their BB3 (Blockbusters with 7 or 8 cost) ready. If they have their BB3 ready there is a high probabilty of them activating it when you block their attack. Alternatively, you can attack enemies while they are dashing. It can be dicey as different characters have different ranges, so you should now who beats who. Another way to initiate combos is, if you are at mid-range to your enemy when they are knocked down, first thing they do is crouch attack. Knowing this, you can try to interrupt enemy's attack immediately when they get up after a knockdown by dashing to them or utilizing your other moves. I find this tech quite easy to do with Parasoul. Also you can do two charge attacks before they start interrupting you, might help. Another way to break blocking stance is to interrupt enemy action by giving them fake openings. I do this a lot, it is a lot safer when enemy doesn't have their BB ready. You can do this while enemy is blocking your attacks, by using for example G4 + G3, then you can squeeze in a special move or blockbuster (if you are going to use a blockbuster, you should wait a split second for enemy to initiate their attack animation after your two uncomplete ground combos, then you can use your BB to interrupt. This can also be applicable for special moves too, as you will need your enemy to take action before you take yours). As an important note, this doesn't work on every special move, you need the ones with evasive properties (Fiber Upper, Drillationship, Destruction Pillar, Wulf Blitzer etc.) or just fast ones. Some characters like umbrella can even start their combo with just their launcher without needing special moves and blockbusters (To be honest you can open up with other characters' normal attacks as well but it is quite hard to delay your combo split second then find an opening). The last way that comes to my mind is dash back + dash forward follow up. Here, you do same thing with the prior one you do two uncompleted ground combos then dash back (at this moment enemy either tries to just Throw, G1, or G5 thus this is risky to do in most situations I wouldn't suggest using this tech much) There are characters who can follow up their own throws with normal attacks and Blockbusters too, you can experiment how it works in training. And there are infinite combo characters such as Eliza, Beowulf, Cerebella (Harlequin) and Umbrella. Once they get their combo going they won't be interrupted if enemy doesn't have a burst (If you are just spamming command grabs they won't be able to burst).
