Big Bay State Park on Madeline Island, Wisconsin
Madeline Island is the largest of the Apostle Islands off the Bayfield Peninsula of Wisconsin and has a rich history dating back hundreds of years. It has long been important to the Native American Chippewa of Lake Superior and was a fur trading post for French, British, and American settlers during the 19th century. Today Madeline Island is a vacation spot with a rich offering of natural Great Lakes beauty and tourist amenities. It's a must see for any visit to the Apostle Islands and Wisconsin's Lake Superior shoreline.

Great video! We just spent 5 nights on Madeline Island at the start of August. We did some Cliff jumping at Big Bay there...did you happen to see people doing it while you were there? Absolutely love that park. Spent a lot of time on that beach and also did the sea cave kayaking there one day. Highly recommend that if you ever go back. The place we stayed at was at the far north end of the island, and there is a beach way at the end that is amazing and basically has no one on it. Great spot to get away.

So jealous! I would love to camp there but it didn't pan out this trip. Kayaking those shores is also high on my list! We did see a bunch of people cliff jumping, it looked way fun. To be honest we were horribly prepared that trip and only had a day. Definitely want to go back though. Thanks for sharing!
