I first saw this motor mount from Chopper Hauss out of Texas b4 BBC made it. Been debating that long about getting it for my 93 FXR. I have the CCE swingarm kit & the Truetrac, which both greatly improved the handling of the bike feels solid & weren't too bad to install. I think the weak link is the front motor mount that seems like it just floats on that oem triangle base with no support. Thanks for the video. Great info!

Right on those swing arms are top level. But yes there both pretty much the exact same thing, can't go wrong with either. Thank you for watching!

If I remember right, chopper haus isn’t adjustable, where as the big bear is. As much as I hate big bear, if I were to switch to one it would be theirs. I’d like to see chopper haus make theirs adjustable first tho. I’d much rather give them my money.

@@nlftw666 I have a feeling only the Aluminium one is adjustable? The pics on BBC make it tricky to tell. I've bolted my ChopperHauss one up on my project FXR and it looks bang on alignment wise.

The right-hand-side support bracket broke on my Big Bear Choppers motor mount that I used on my Dyna - best get the mounts from Chopper Hauss as they are steel and much stronger. The rear mounts are easir to fit than the BBC one which is also aluminium and hard to fit as you have to mess around, whereas the Chopper Hauss rear mount is easy to fit..... I wish I hadn't bothered with the BBC stuff - they totally ignored all my messages about it ! and I got one made from a better quality metal than BBC uses.

@@freebirdsgarage The front mounts are easy to fit - it's the BBC rear mounts for Dynas that are hard to fit though I must say it does work very well as it uses the rear mount rubbers from the FXR in a 'clam-shell' type mounting that it too wide to simply slip into place..... you'd have to be familiar with the rear mounts on Dynas to know what I mean.... take care out there on that cool bike my man !

Do you feel that you need additional stabilizers after installing the big bear kit? I know some people are using GPR stabilizers or True Track down low. What are your thoughts?

It's actually over kill, they were super popular on the bikes. Unless you plan on tracking or racing the bike. There is no need for it.

@@freebirdsgarage just did a quick Google for big bear chopper and it appears it's only available in the USA. Same with the moonsmc rear light you have.

@@freebirdsgarage it's the VAT that is payable as a package arrives from the USA, plus a handling fee from the courier that puts me off. I'll probably go for the moons rear light but not use the turn signals, get an led front from Amazon. I like the look of the HD turn signal inserts but I'll have to wait for the bike to turn up to make sure they'll fit.

Big Bear makes quality pars. They are a really good company to buy from. I wanted one of their kit bikes so badly about 10 years ago! Great video Jay!

They do but only for Dyna, I actually spoke with Ryan on getting a one off for the FXR. But he needed the bike at his shop for the exact measurements. Hopefully one day!
