Chick1 is 5 days old. Looks like it is a bit hungry (it was fed over 2 hours ago!!), but Shadow is just chilling there... 🙃

I'll never forget young, silent Shadow when he first found his voice with Jackie. His voice was more like a croak, the look on Jackie's face was hilarious. Yes, their kids take after their mama, and she is glorious.

Simba the second? I remember when Simba gave Shadow a hard time quite often. 😂 Shadow always took it in stride. Honestly, Jackie and Shadow seem to produce the most dramatic babies. I love it ! 🥰

I love that Shadow has been able to share the first of milestones with many to come. KIM said it best... that Shadow is used to the baby's Mom throwing tantrums. He could've given it food but we don't know if they need it on a schedule that will help them sleep more. Regardless, this was so adorable.

That was so adorable! If s/he is doing that at just 5 days old, wait until the teenage tantrums. I thought perhaps the reason for the tantrum was boredom and wanting to go explore but perhaps it was just hunger. Either way, it was powerful and Shadow didn't budge an inch. Just wait until mom comes home. Ha ha.

Great moments! I'm not sure I'd call it a tantrum. Eaglets often vocalize just to practice and strengthen their "voices." In the end it seemed he burrowed under dad to warm up. So cute!!

There for a little bit it look like she was reaching for the food in front of her she might pee a little hungry like I said all eagles are different and I noticed that other equals feed them constantly so I know shadow is really young and a little immature on that side which is OK I love shadow and Jackie no matter what but I think of Jackie would’ve been there she probably would’ve fed her or him I think it was a crying for daddy I’m hungry kind of think that was adorable so adorable
