I think the second egg did not hatch because of there is little fluff in the nest. Other eagles' nests have more fluff and chicks in them. The situation can be better if someone bring many small conifer branches in the nest before eagles lay eggs. An important value is the body temperature of the bird. Fluff must be dry and porous so that the chick matures properly behind the shell. If there is not enough air, the chick will suffocate inside the egg.

I was wondering.. does anyone know.. Do the Babies wait till MOMMA and PAPA are at the nest before jumping and Flying off for the first time ? Or do they jump and Fly off for the first time Alone , if they want . 🦅💖

There are different reasons for fledging. Some are encouraged by parents.. or situations arise that entice or urge the offspring to leave the nest. Mostly it's intuition.. to leave on their own accord.
