We’ve always had pretty good luck with the mice tails. Just make sure to add some kind of scent to it. Good luck!

Just got back from Big Bear today, caught 3 trout at Juniper, guys next to us nailed about 7 or 8 solid ones, up to 4 pounds.

There was still a good amount of snow in the north shore area, but Juniper only had some snow on the way down to the shoreline.

It was great meeting you that morning. My buddy Josh and I were the two guys that talked with you at Juniper Point on our way to the dam. We ended up getting into a pretty decent trout bite using kastmasters and slipbobbers. Love the channel, your camera work is outstanding! Tight lines🤘

When was this? I was just at juniper this morning and caught 2 over a pound and a few small ones. Give it another shot after a cold spell. Gonna get warm again this Monday, should be cold again by thanksgiving weekend

@@benlee6850 I live up here, so road conditions aren’t an issue. Always bring chains in the winter, but all 3 roads up are clear. Saturday will be a zoo, but that’s been the case for about 8 months. Get out early.

Nice! Juniper was pretty empty when we were there. Had the whole shore to ourselves pretty much. This was Nov 4th. We will definitely head back up there again soon. Hopefully we find some trout!

@@ExploreNaturesCatch If you can come up during the week, the shore is completely different. I limited out in 2 hours yesterday. Plan to go out again on Monday, should be good then too. These are all holdovers, so I’m releasing them all back. Have too many trout in the freezer from last year.

Was this in early November? I was at the lake a few days ago and it was extremely cold and the lake looked devoid of life. I was by the Standfield Cutoff I believe that’s on the east end.
