We've been coming to Big Bear for the lat 40 years. We love the town nd always have great time. Unfortunately on he last 10 years We've seen an overall decline everywhere. Shops restaurants (especially restaurants) yes higher prices, which is understandable but there is no excuse for the very poor quality. We came up twice this year and the food was very disappointing. Now let's get to accommodations also very expensive and very disappointing. The properties are run down and I'm trying to be gracious but 1500 - 2000 per week for a old run down house is shameful. My point to this is that what I have seen listed for sale is what is the same condition as alot of the vacation rentals. I agree with the previous comment they aren't worth half the price you're asking.
