You should read Lucinda Riley's "The lavender garden". It involves WWII. I just finished it and i loved it. It is like a puzzle, a mystery story with history involved.

Omg I’m currently reading the Jasmine Throne and HOLY CRAP ITS BANANAS GOOD!! I’ve had a busy few days and haven’t read in four or five days and I’m DYING to pick it up. While the stories are very different, It gives me Daevabad Trilogy vibes; the well fleshed characters and conflict, a war from the past that continues to have devastating effects on the current populace, a magic system intrinsically linked with an ancient religion. I literally can’t shut up about this book I’m so excited for you to read it!

I just finished Valor (the second book in the Faithful and the Fallen series) and I liked it a lot! It's definitely not a dark series or anything like that, but I like the main character a lot. I hope you will as well! I started the Blacktongue Thief a couple of days ago and like it as well. It's very funny and much lighter than I thought before I started, but I like the humor and would definitely recommend it. Great haul!
