I just looked it up and stock Cadillac 500 cylinder heads normally flow in the mid 200s. I'm happy to see this company still doing well.

About 25 years ago, i was obsessed with wanting to building a 500, i was fascinated with the stock amount of ci and obscene amount of torque that could be made. Can't wait to see what it does with these heads and a decent cam.

I like caddy engine's. I like the valve layout were exhaust port's aren't side by side in the chamber. 472-500ci that weighs a little bit more than a small block chivy

@@scotthatch4548 I disagree, having 2 sets of cylinder heads on the market is not exactly parts availability, however I'll admit to you I didn't knew they had cam options, I remember a few years ago summit racing only had 1 cam grind listed for the 472/500 Cadillacs, but that was several years ago.

@@scotthatch4548 Yep. Summit is a chain store dealer, just like ol "trek auto" but in bulk. Come to find out another widely known (Now belly up) company used many off the shelf and modified parts from Oldsmobile and Dick Miller Racing. Even Howards and Isky make plenty of bump sticks for the cads. Joe hunt is still building magnetos too!

Damn nice heads. On a different note I would like to bring something up, just because you don’t like LS engines doesn’t mean all guys with LS engines are assholes. I always hear you being snarky talking about those “LS guys” meanwhile I have not really met one. I often hear you talking crap about LS engines and LS guys though. I would imagine the LS boom must have brought you a shit ton of work.e
@WeingartnerRacing Жыл бұрын
I actually like Ls engines and heads. I just hate the fanboys that blast false info about other engines. There is a difference If you don’t see it just post a question on a forum about how to make a sbc or Bbc better and you can almost guarantee someone will say Ls swap. Ls customers don’t bring me work because most, not all , are too cheap. They spent $800 on a junkyard engine they are not spending $800 for head work. Again I don’t dislike Ls engines just many, not all, of their fans.

@@WeingartnerRacing Hit the nail on the head! Someone mail this man a podium. I'd love to see the fan boys reaction to the '09-14 production LS engine ring land drifts in machining and the '13-16 AFM engine problems.. They are just like every other engine to endure their share of imperfections.
