It's a bit strange hearing this music for more than a few minutes... But, then again, the super quick races are what makes F-Zero so epic. That, and the fact that one of the drivers is a dinosaur.

I remember the first time I played big blue's pipe in f zero x I did to know you could spin around it. I thought you would fall off the sides of it. Made me swear bullets until I fell onto the underside. :p

This was my favorite version of it since I played this n64 version. This version sounds more raw like it was actual produced by a band and had little to no arrangements. Then follows the Melee version of it which sounds yes heavily arranged but it brings good memories of playing that game too. Too disappointed Ultimate had it way too arranged and ruined that it barely resembles this version or the Melee one.

I hate Nintendo, they have this amazing franchise, with all these super cool characters, epic music and they are not doing anything with it!, just because they don't know what to do with it. It's a racing game with an anime story dude!!, just do a racing game, you don't need to re-invent the racing genre to make an F-zero game.

I was able to replicate this using an old Yamaha GX chipset as it had pretty much all of the MIDI controllers a MIDI nut would want and was able to recreate actual sounding distorted guitar. The amount of GX MIDI controllers were so much I had to make my own program for them. It's a really good chipset, it's just unfortunate you couldn't substitute your own samples.
