This was great! Coming from Texas, you would have never known this was going on. Big Boy was always a celebrity to us. I once had a chance to meet him but I was so nervous I just let him walk by. I took a picture of him but never got the chance to say anything. I would love to sit down for 30 minutes and just hear what he has to say. Man, great interview. 👍🏼

Hey Jason, great interview I wondered what happened with this interview. We love Big Boy! He's such a great person. I got his book, Big came to my best friend Erik Lopez funeral. That was such a blessing to have him there with Jose, Jose wife. My friend Eriks mom was so happy and tearful to see Big Boy there... please tell Big appreciate him! I remember the "whos got the power now? No more kissing a** to that fake ass station, shutting down the power" even the voice of 50 cent "only power I'm talking about is my show" When you see Big, please tell him appreciate him showing up to my friends funeral. Ani wanted to come but, was busy working. I remember that gathering the "happier hour" with everyone until he got back on air. You guys stay safe, hope theres another event soon or funny comedy show! Power 106 used to be a good station!! I remember that!! I’ve never heard Big Boy on Power 106. I’m 21 years old & when he was on Power 106, I was a child still. Plus, I don’t live in LA, but when I first started listening to Radio Stations or started getting into them, I’ll admit, the first station I listened to was Power 106 & that was in 2017. I like Power 106 for a long long time! J. Cruz, Bryhanna, DJ Felli Fel, Justin Credible & DJ Sour Milk. The best shows in Los Angeles!! Then I started listening to Real 92.3 & starting hearing about big boy. Loved Big Boy!! Used to listen to his show a lot when I was in School in 2018-2019! Reminds me of my Senior Year & enjoyed! But I’ll also admit… Power 106 was my favorite radio station for a long time!! They really were! When J. Cruz left, I was in big shocked when he left. But anyways, Power 106 has changed so much & so disappointing!! They sound like the old 97.1 AMP RADIO now. They have these dumb people screaming Power 106 & honestly, that’s hella embarrassing. The guy that they used for their station ID is the main guy. I mean… that’s the purpose of the radio station. @Power106LosAngeles sounds so desperate now & I just don’t like Power 106 anymore like how I used to. Their playlists sucks now, they’re just playing whatever, they got rid of the Power 106 Party Mix Weekend mix show every weekend! I honestly liked that a lot. I used to party with that. But now… nothing. I don’t ever wish this on nothing, but Power 106 now needs to go out of business. I mean… they don’t care about anything when they should. If I was employed there or if I was the general manager… I’ll make a lot of changes there. Who ever the manager is needs a good ass slap in the face!! 😂😂 POWER 106 being back the Hip Hop!! How is that so hard for you!!?? You guys used to be the best hip hop station in Los Angeles… now look it…. Sounds just like the old 97.1 AMP RADIO & 102.7 KIIS FM. Might as well bring us back AMP RADIO. I mean why not? You guys suck now. Goodbye Power 106!!! 105.9 FM!! Real 92.3 it is!! They’re making everything loyal & good! Now it explains why Big Boy & J. Cruz are excited where & what they’re doing.
