Gather around kids, for history has just been made in today's stream. An hour ago we were all having a blast watching Swim play the fiora deck while we were making calculated investments in the form of gambas. One faithful game Swim was playing against draven diana aggro, and got overwhelmed and ultimately lost to high powered board presence. The bet was on whether or not Draven would level up, and the opponent won the game without this being the case. A solid 85% of the betters got their prediction fulfilled and left as happier and wealthier humans beings. Swim was a bit disappointed that he lost, since the opponent kinda nutted out by playing house spider on turn 2, then playing Draven on turn 3 and attacking with it, axing a vision in the process for big damage. This always happens to Swim when facing that deck, according to him. The next game rolls around and Swim is facing Draven Jinx discard aggro. The opponent is attacking on odds. A particularly dirty and slimy mod, Precipic, remembered Swim's words from last game and proposed to following Gamba: "Opponent will vision on turn 3". There is a long delay on placing the bet, so by the time we're all set and ready, we can see the opponent has already played house spider on turn 2. Again, 85% bet against it. Turn 3 rolls around and the opponent plays... an arena battlecaster. And swings and ends the turn without playing vision. Another EZ Clap for the economic connoisseurs of Twitch chat. But somehow, disaster managed to strike anyway, as a life ruining message popped up on screen. "Result: Vision on 3!" Precipic misclicked the result and awarded the channel points to the wrong side of the bet. Outrage ensued, and understandably so, since many people had unfairly lost large quantities of life's most precious resource. The chat explodes with pleas and insults to precipic, calling for him to be unmodded, and executed. Swim takes humor in the situation, saying that misclicks happen and are to be expected occasionally. Precipic is invited to make a statement via a discord call, and he simply says "You have to understand chat, I'm all you have" and leaves. To double down on this sentiment, he creates a new poll. "Precipic will get unmodded in the next 20 minutes". In this genius maneuver, he forces the channel point-hungry twitch chat to accept that he is indeed a mod and cease their attempts for a coup. Chat wants to win the bet, so they vote on the most likely outcome, 80% votes for "no". However, chat likes to be angry, and are still spamming "REMOVE PRECIPIC'S MOD". Swim sees this and decides it's only fair that Precipic gets unmodded for 24 hours, until tomorrow's stream. Chat takes another huge loss from this bet, and Swim promptly just ends the stream right then and there. Dreams are shattered, families are ruined, and the casualties number in the thousands. December 22nd, 2020 is a date to remember forever.

It's fucking over, Swim buffs his Mentor of Stones up to a 12|12 and swings. Mentor lethal, a 1:100 bet, my entire point empire is reduced to nothing in a moment. This has to be a paid actor surely. A single tear rolls down my cheek as the chat is filled with the same message "DOUBTERS KEKW". I can't even hear them, the only thing I can hear are the creditors busting down my door. I type out my final message into the chat as the door is broken down "FUCKING RIGGED".

Having played mirrors like this in tournament MTG (PTQ's) the easiest indicator of who is winning is hand size and mana efficiency but the attack token passing add a whole new level to it. Frankly I find the chance of player error way to high especially in a tournament formats where you might be playing upwards of 10 bo3 matches that day, and ultimately it still boils down to RNG since you can have the bad game where you literally pull mostly creatures and hardly any spells which you can bluff but eventually the other player will commit and win on the spot. However if you like to be completely neurotic then go for it.
